if yes, the prob is the ram slot.. i'm currently facing da same issue

post some CPU tweaker SS.. and play alot with vdimm..some chip wont clock well with high vdimm..some just need ngam2 vdimm..

guys.. u got any rams to lend or sell? prefer value rams.. kekeke..

can boot,but cant prime..i try to use 1.65-1.75..same..cant stable in prime..

u tried with lower vdimm? since asus have quite a fine vdimm increment, u can try
i have weird exp last time.. where my vdimm need the exact amount..( my exp might not even occur to u..but no harm trying)

eg :
1.4XX instant fail
1.52XX stable 30mins only
1.54XXv stable 1hr
1.56XXv stable 30mins only
1.65v instant fail

above is example.. same setting different vdimm only

same goes to the NB-vid.. but not as strict as vdimm.. if disable/auto the load line calibration, the interval of stable volt is getting bigger but need more vIMC lah..

i already unlock all 4 cores.

the highest overclock i got is around 3958 mhz using this setting and mobo and prime 95 is stable 3hrs. (forgot 2 save it)

mobo: msi 770-g45
cm 212+ 55 celcius when torture. idle around 38-40 celcius

pls advise me regarding what should i do to increase it beyond 4ghz ? do my current mobo make my oc cant go beyond its limit? i m newbie and all help is much appreciate.

i assume u using deneb..
with that vcore and 4cores enable, u might end up killing ur mobo..
try touch the mosfets when stressing, if hot, u should cool them down..

if i were u, i will tune down to around 3.7ghz so that the vcore can stay <1.4v

not to refrain u from OC..but if u value ur mobo, u should not go to that point.. if u want to burn ur mobo, u can go ahead..just put fans direct blow ur mosfets then..

small update..
abit better.. will burn to high clock loose timings later..doing slowly

vdimm is 1.50v as stated in HW monitor VIN1

nice clock there on d ram... timing is tight for a pair of kvr....

looks like someone is on 890fxa-ud5/7....gigabyte des in hwm is d hint...

i believe u need to find a better cooling solution bro...why not changed ur HSF...possible to reach 4Ghz... and one more thing...you need to know ur proc batch as well...some 555 wont able to reach @ 4Ghz...

i believe d problem is with d board/chip. dun get me wrong, msi is good boards manufacturer but there's a limit for a value board like g45. i consider 4GHz @ quad aint moderate oc (for air) & u need an above average board for such clock. when i abused my ex 240 @ 3.85GHz w/ 1.6xv, i can hear d chokes screamin (mind u, d fets were sinked & actively cooled). other than that, 4GHz prime stable is not a guarantee for a normal 955be, let alone soft moddable quad in b55. coolin would be d last thing holding back d mileage since full load is @ 55'c only, very decent for a value cooler.
