bro, did u still apply milestone overclock after flashing?

so, if i reflashed this right, again.. my sd has already been partitioned with JIT and apps2sd in it, so i have to re-install/overwrite them again with adb? then i need to install my apps/games manually again? is that it?

since this is central europe version, will it include our local telco apn settings? if not then we need to backup it first.

i thought APN settings are automated?

Depend on u Ma...but at the stock speed lag not obvious like starhub..

then probably have to wait till the official froyo before we know if there's really a 256mb sitting there doing nothing..
heard it's fixed in kernel 2.6.32

I doubt there is 512mb as Motorola would have specified it in the specs even if it unused! Why wouldn't they? The would would be selling more xt720 if this was the case.
Also all the applications never reported more than 256mb - even on the X10 you can see that there is more than 256mb using the Quadrant benchmark.

i have a question guys.. when i make a call or whoever is calling me, the background image is liquid or something. any ways to change that background image?

edit:
i tried the central europe version and its fine but i can't do a messaging? it gives out an error. anyone have that too?

hi people! new, proud owner of XT720 here

i got some questions that i failed to solved

1 - i brought this smartphone from owner that just used this phone for less than a day. so he'd have his account in the memory and it control the access to the Android Market and Mail. i tried to remove/delete his profile, but it says that profile control few programme that are currently running. i guess the program is overclocking software or somethin. so the question is, how can i delete his profile/account without factory format it?

2 - if i format it, do i have to re-root it again?

3 - do you use any hardcase or protector for this phone?

just replace it with your account (settings>accounts & sync) make sure all google apps has been closed upon modifying the account.
is the phone rooted? if you wanna restore to factory or to its original state also can.
to root the phone, simply use universal androot. you don't need to re-root if it's already been rooted.

overclocking app doesn't need any google account. it access only google applications like market, gmail, etc.

Setting > Sync = there are 3 account available. 1 from the Seller, 1 myself, 1 for my facebook account. so how can i remove seller's account?

when i choose seller account > remove > conform remove, it says "this account is required by some application. you can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory default....."

resetting this phone is the last thing i want to do. so any idea what i suppose to do now?

yes, this phone is already rooted since i'd ask the seller to root it for me, and i see Universal Androot program in my XT720.

sorry i edited my post.. look up. to force close the google apps.. go to applications>manage apps i'm in a rush now. hope others could assist you.

Motorola has its own pouch for the XT720 and there are also aftermarket screen protector for the phone.

guys I've updated the latest flash and applied jit and nextheme. Everything works fine but my text message cant be open. Everytime i try open it the error message will pop up and close the app automatically. You guys dont have this problem? Or did i done something wrong along the process

yes, about the bolded matter, how can i change the user from one to another? because the current account for those application is using the Seller's account.

the main account can't be deleted, if you want to use the new main account, you need to "Factory Reset" the phone...
please to be remind, once u do factory reset, all downloaded application, contact number, sms history, all la will gone also..

btw..
u should use ur own gmail for "main account" la.. why? coz, if u turn on the synchronize, your contact will automatic backup u know..
mean, in the future if u factory reset ur phone, then u put back your gmail account, then it will synchro, and you'll get ur contact lists back

and its good also coz later if u change to new phone (android also), then just put the same gmail account, then you can get back ur old contact lists..

the remaining internal memory less than Singapore version.. it has 127mb only.. where 156mb if with singapore version..

and there's no starhub TV apps, and the motonav still there..
plus it has new apps which is Navigation & Media Share..

no wonder why i CAN'T remove the main account. i thought main account can be transfer to another account or something.

that mean, once i Factory Reset it, my XT720 will be total virgin - unroot, no downloaded apps, no nothing right? i guess the very first step once i Factory Reset it, i have to root it first using Universal Androot right? then i can move to GPS and other what so ever. anything that i miss?

like i said earlier, the rom from central europe is working fine but the problem with the messaging system. tak serasi kot? i flashed back to SE Asia rom. it works better still.
