QUOTE(vexus @ Jun 27 2010, 09:38 AM) looks like new batch desire gonna get sony lcd instead of samsung as reported by engadget. is it true? Yes very true. Nexus and Desire has the highest probability of getting the Sony Super TFT LCD. Regarding if theres anything that would change, well... you can bet that the LCD won't have as vibrant of colors and as good of a contrast. However, the LCD will atleast look better under direct sunlight and you'll actually be able to see the screen. But quality wise, don't expect anything too different really.

Maybe I should postpone buying the Desire now! Hopefully the next batch of Desire will have Froyo + IPS screen ! What is Super TFT LCD? Super TFT LCD is nickname for IPS !! source: http://androidcommunity.com/htc-forced-to-...tages-20100625/

^ Ahaha. I'd opt for Super TFT rather than AMOLED to save myself from the pink tint

QUOTE(aku88 @ Jun 27 2010, 06:47 PM) Well, I'll tell you what I did. My laptop has an SD card reader so I transfered everything from my Desire's SD memory into my laptop, removed it and put in the new SD card. I then transfered everything from the laptop to the new card and placed it in the desire =) Oh, I have a question for anyone who can answer. How do you all sync your iTunes playlist with your HTC Desire? Frankly the thought of having to organize everything into playlists again is killing me. I'm using doubletwist to sync itunes music/playlist to the Desire you'll need to connect the desire as usb drive in order for it to work

I just got double twist yesterday actually and I love the interface, plus now all my playlists are synced which is super convenient. Only problem is that there's no desktop widget but apparently they're releasing that quite soon so all is well =)

It is launched already. You can get it from maxis with or without plan or from any htc stores.

Do anyone of you know how to store the messages in Handcent SMS into the SD card automatically? I don't want to use my phone memory... it's too precious to use it not until the release of froyo
