My answer is can. Beacuase I got one female good friend. We are very very close until sometime people misunderstood we 'pak toh'. We always play misscall, sms, and sometime when I call her, we can talk for 1 and a half hour.

yep yep!! of cos gal n guy can b gud frenx!! but..sumhow things will be diff if they both found their other half. coz i dun tink anyone's bf/gf wud like to see their partner being close wit someone of the opposite sex. u noe..jealousy? hiakz~ unless they r realli da open-minded type. which is realli rare here

why not? i have tons of friends who are females.... its not like you'll "kow" all they girls you know....... its just that when they find thier partner... its pretty hard to ask them out cause their BF might get jealous..

gals and boyz surely can be frens.........but if they are too close 2gether,mmmhhh.........i think tat,one day in future one or both of them may fall in love v their partner.........(juz my own opinion....) bcoz i like to read novel, then i may got a bit bit influence from the romance love story lah......

of coz gals n guys can hav platonic relationship oh....even though both sides might develop "more than frens" feelings in da first place....but hey!! v r after all sexual beings who yearn 2 love n b loved......me n my best buddy instantly clicked when v first met, chatted over da phone every nite talking bout lotsa stuffs...i did fall 4 him earlier n even told him tat, guess wat? after tat incident, 2 my surprise, v become closer than b4 coz no more secrets between us ( well, tat's wat he tot ler after i said da onli secret i hav is crushing on him....hehehe)....nowadays, v stil share our common grounds, n he's more like a big bro than a guy i used 2 fall 4....actualli when u get 2 know a guy 2 one point, u wil realized tat being his best bud is da wiser than being his gf after all....and i m glad v din become more than best buds tat time ( even though he said he has feelings 4 me...) coz i might lose da best buddy in da end...he has a steady gf of 5 years now n i m still enjoying my singlehood but still hav him 2 talk 2 when i m lonely or looking 4 ways 2 tackle my latest crush!!! so having an opposite sex buddy is fun ler....

Its really depends on both individuals (Guy and Gal) and also the kind of friendship whether it will upgrade to the next stage (couples) or just remain on that stage (friends).

friendship -> lover = no ship in the end
strangers -> lover = strangers in the end
friendship forever = forever friends
friendship + lover = forever lovey dovey
stranger + lover + friendship = marriage
