iOS 4.1 u can facetime via email. so i guess u can call ipod touch, old iphones and some macs?

yeah. but by 4.1 can facetime with other iphones, ipods (older gens can only facetime 1 way i think) and macs.

higher resolution than traditional 3g video call. full screen siot with better details.

In case you all havent already noticed, your camera will take yellow (especially skin hue) photos under certain indoor lightings, please feedback to Apple asap so that they will rectify this problem in the next software update.

yes..mine seem to have this problem...i rather not using the stupid flashlight~....without flashlight the picture look better~

Just for the record most if not all cameraphones dont have such issues. I have used some many of them and this is my first. We pay a lot of money for it and dont tell me not to expect much. After all didn't Steve Jobs make IP4's camera one of it's major selling points?

people pay alot of money for protons too, but they are also told not to expect much, even people who buy Droids seem to have red tints during video and image capture, they too pay alot of money for their phones, even the old nokia N93 has this problem. Basically you cannot expect much from any point and shoot styled cameras, want total control over your image use post processing tools to adjust your white balance or get a DSLR that gives you ultimate control over image quality and a good calibrated display.

Its major selling point is the retina display.

hi i have a problem with my iphone 3gs aftr i updated to ios4 i having a problem of surfing the internet and getting my mail from the internet......i can use wifi to surf but not using 3g.... i reset the network already change sim card and even ask them to reset their network on their site and it still doesn't work....i can make calls and snd sms.. any ideas?

restart the phone, plug in to iTunes again. Do you get a "Carrier Settings update" message?

Mayne he refer to white balance. Apple will improve it. Dslr also sometime have a problem with WB. This can rectify on next firmware.

Now, you should not have compared Proton with Apple. It is like comparing Apple to a rotten orange. Not a very good analogy. You mentioned about people experiencing video discoloration using droid, how many of them out of all are experiencing this? For IP4, I have to say almost everyone is experiencing this white balance issue and some even worse, a total yellow tint for indoor photo capture. I owned so many other smartphones before N95, HTC HD and Samsung Omnia 2, I don't see such major WB issue in them at all. Everyone pays alot of money for this gizmo so please don't tell me not to expect much. If you care to read Apple Forum, you should know how many ppl are experiencing this problem. I expect to capture a picture and post it straightaway onto Facebook using my IP4 (not using a third party software to enhance my image only to post it again later). I only hope more people will feedback to Apple as suggested by the Apple technician and forumers in Apple support. I love this gadget and so I hope Apple will do something.

even a dedicated DSLR, more expensive than an iphone also sometimes got that problem. most probably is just a white balance problem, easily fixed with a software update (if the problem is huge enough lah). or probably the location where u took the picture has too much different light sources it confuses the algorithm.

can u replicate the yellowish skin tone n post a pic here?
