After getting the 2.2 and moving everything to SD, now home screens a bit laggy or even hang a while. Is there something I shouldn't have moved to SD? Or have I just loaded too many apps into the phone?

it's Moto 2.2 traits, they somehow makes the launcher a bit laggy.. doh.gif

if your Mlestone is rooted, install root explorer and navigate your way to /data/ and choose "open as text" for 'local.prop' file. then add this line: "ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1" at the end, after that press enter one more time to make sure there is a empty line at the lowest row. save and restart and your launcher will be a bit better. smile.gif

Not rooted. I'll remember your note for future though JIC, thanks for tip. It helped great2bcool. Anyway I won't worry that I've broken something.

i personally find that tutorial is quite overwhelming. doesn't understand half of what he was trying to tell.
and i don't feel any laggy and lack of ram / fc issue. so guess it's ok.

ext2 will always be better than moved to SD, coz it won't have the lag of Android checking the SD card.
but class 2 i think quite slow. mine class 4 also feel slow..
