make sure to back up all data, coz this update will erase everything

Added on March 16, 2011, 10:51 am-Motorola is committed to continually meet and exceed our consumers' expectations. Due to the extremely high number of requests for the Android 2.2. (FROYO) software upgrade, we are making the upgrade package available to consumers who wish to voluntarily upgrade their own devices via MSU.

Maybe this update isnt final.Maybe it is aimed at all impatient because the final will probably be delayed again.Who knows...

make sure you have RSD Lite installed. download from Megaupload and extract the sbf file. rename the sbf file to something short, preferably maybe to 8 character.

start phone on bootloader mode. use rsd lite to flash that sbf file. you are now a 2.2.1 (Froyo)

"Exhaustive testing process has concluded that users may experience some adverse effects associated with the upgrade which could include slower operation of some phone functions and applications. Performance may be improved by limiting open applications. "
