Addition: Warisan Negara?

Addition 2(3.12.2010): Oil price forever increase.

Addition 3(17.07.2012): MAS & Tajudin Ramli anyone? whistling.gif

A borrow X money
X refuse to give back because he saw A waste his $$$ gambling.

what kind of logic is this?

Its like saying "let's rape that slut coz she aint virgin in the first place".

Stoopid borrowers. dont borrow if you dont intend to give back. No use study when the basic morality is already f*ked up

Every holder has a role to play. A payment to PTPTN is a payment to BN. Remember Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Yep.. by continuous DEFY/REFUSE paying back whats borrowed and expect the government NOT to take action = stupid. I hope those defaulters go to jail if they continue like this.

For my own opinion... the best thing to differentiate whether some 1 is a successfully man or a scumbag... its purely depends on his "steadylity"...

If you're not steady.. u are just another scumbag...

the less we pay per month . the more they untung lehs. The money u owe em if its alot and u paying back little by little . 20 years also cannot settle ur loan and jus interest rate itself increasing the amount of money u owe em every year . imagine this you owe ptptn 60k. and every month u only pay RM 100. cannot lahs wei. your jus paying for the interests they charge u only instead of the so called settling ur ptptn.

typical loser talk. During applying for PTPTN. behave like puppies all goodie-goodie. When its time to pay back.... cry foul "I'm the victim". Thats why some people are worse than peasants and deserves to be in such status. Lack of integrity and can't be trusted.

aku pun harap macam itu..but this is like processing money..

PTPN loan from EPF..the transaction manage by them..their want "untung"..most of student pay back 100 per month..

borrow 30-40k..how long PTPTN can settle with EPF side..this interest cover all this thing..

PTPN is not gomen..

Defaulters will have 1,001 excuses not to pay. Later they say the building wont run but will collapse (waste $$). Later again they will say.. building is dead.. wont generate income but incur cost. Finally they might say.. I am still alive.. as long as I am (read: Don't assasinate me).. you fellas at PTPTN might have *chance* in the future to get my eer your $$$$ back...................... nananananananananana.........

When PTPTN tried to trace these people.... all they get are the same source... www.lubangcacing.com.my

Contrary to what many people say, not many PTPTN holders use their money for luxuries or FD. All of it went to semester fees, food and books.

those who really used the ptptn for the needs of their studies are the ones who never complained about paying back and know their responsibilities of being a borrower therefore they pay back when they managed to secure a job or started making money...

usually those who complained/whining are the ones who use their money for luxuries or FD...and most cases got kicked out/drop out 2-3 semester shy from graduating to pursue their dreams of being rich via MLM...

But TS sure provided one of the lamest excuse ever. Just because the one borrowing doing a "reckless" thing, its ok for the borrower NOT to pay back.

If like this, I try borrow $$$ from a generous man. When he ask for his $$$ back, I tell him he is living a bad lifestyle like smoking and clubbing. I will do him a favor by not repaying the $$ I owed him. LOL!

From common moral sense, you borrow you pay.

From legal sense, you borrow you pay.

From religion sense, you borrow you pay.

If you tak mampu pay because no job/no work, that is tough luck. If you do not want to pay because the sun rising from the east, because the moon is round, or how the government is wasting the money, you are at best, closely resemble scum. Do not use any sort of excuse for your selfishness, as it only make you look more selfish.

TS is pretty stupid.. u borrow money and dont want to pay back? Sound selfish and stupid. Why justify your action by saying paying back ptptn will payment to BN? PTPTN is gov money, tax money which means all malaysians money, so when u are not paying, it means u owe all of US. and u trying to BETRAY US.

Dulu sebelum dpt ptptn, merayu2, menangis2, mintak keluar surat khabar buat cerita, now dah dpt duit, dah fail, taknak bayar. BANGANG!

U know eating 1 meal of McD and drinking a cup of Starbucks is a super luxury on a RM3k income. What is the meaning of life then? Still want to pay back loan?

So what? What does that have anything to do with people paying back their PTPN or not?

Gov got anything to do with PTPTN meh.

lets say u take a loan from maybank, then maybank CEO build a palace then you dont want pay?

loan u can choose to take or not, when u take it means agree to pay back later la. dont be so selfish la TS, because of people like u never pay back, the future poor students cant take loan anymore.

if you dont want pay back, pls study harder and get a scholarship, dont troll here.

I wish to just adres something that i never understand.

I paid my PTPTN 200 per month, and is not really killing me, but having my own family to take care and living in KL really does make things fall short. 200 could means heaven and earth, at least can isi my perut for 2 weeks.

Anyway, i believe most responsible person out there do pay, but i always wonder, with all of our nowadays living expenses, cant they just deduct from our EPF? We cant touch it, but i am willing to pay from there. Surely, i saved less for my old time when retired, but i don't think that i really mind that. Is better than accumulate my interest from the loan yearly by just paying some minimum amount. ANyway, in the end of the day, i might still be paying 200 till i retired, who knows?

Anyone can enlight me?

Be grateful of wat the gomen is giving out PTPTN. For those not willing to pay, n now success in carrier wher u get ur money to fund for ur college o university fees, wat will u bcome if u are not entitled PTPTN. Its a cycle , the money they loaned to u , when u return them back will b loaned to our nex generation.

Oh I see..you are having the same fate as my neighbor. She is currently using her Akaun 2 to pay for her home loan instead.
You can draw out from the Akaun 2 to pay for home loan .. (e.g 1 year..depends on your Akaun 2 balance).

Actually when you apply for this, you have the option either to pay monthly as usual (can settle your home loan faster) OR
liase with your bank so that you EPF-withdrawn money would cater for the monthly payment for the said period.
So now the amount which is meant for her monthly home loan can be used to pay up her PTPTN and finish it as quickly as possible. icon_idea.gif

Of course not biz tongue.gif

But winning the hearts of people is much more important to me biggrin.gif
(I hate giving out hints doh.gif )

Different set of administration will have different set of policies and rules biggrin.gif

With more $$ to help out more students, then how many of them will get high grade point average? It's likely that 80% of the graduated students will have to pay back the loan + interest be it from IPTA/IPTS smile.gif

If there are too many people who get exempted from paying back the loans, then the grade point average requirement will be increased (3.90/4.00 requirement?) and maybe the subjects will be recalibrated to be more harder to get high grade point average or more B+ vs A's tongue.gif

Practically it's a "business model", if it doesn't bring in profit in the long run, how would it sustain on?

Yes i want to pay back, my parents thought me to pay back what you have borrowed. Do your part, dont care what they do with the money after that. YOu should at least pay it back they borrowed you money so that you can study but once you gained knowledge you dont wana pay them back?

what kind of logic is this?

Its like saying "let's rape that slut coz she aint virgin in the first place".

Stoopid borrowers. dont borrow if you dont intend to give back. No use study when the basic morality is already f*ked up

gov will send tons and tons of emails to all his beloved rakayat MyEmail a/c.
then tricubes will send ONLY 1 email to gov, that email content is the bill to pay for all the emails sent by gov to each mail box. RM0.50 each email... brilliant project.

Lmao this kind of thread is even exist. When people decide to accept the ptptn LOAN, they should aware they need to pay back. If not, why accept in first place. Mau belajar pon mau berkira. All want free. If want free, go try apply scholarship la. Hopeless.

So you mean if 2004-2007 student dont get scholarship, future student also shouldn't? What kind of mentality is that. You should just be grateful they have initiative to support the excellent student, not complaining about everything

bro xavi, im one of the unfortunate students (Nottingham Malaysia, batch 2005-2007) scored first class, and sadly cant convert to scholarship.

but i stick to my promise, i borrow, i pay. plus d money i pay back, is for future generation to use for their study. why u want to block/deny their opportunity to get education and study loan?

Failed. You think every money that gov have should just spend to yours for free?
They shouldn't spend that tax money for other important stuff? We got so many fail Malaysian here.
You just so berkira with your money. Obviously, you just become burden to the country with all your unrealistic demand.
Paying tax to gov is your responsibility as a citizen in any country and gov should spend that money for kepentingan the whole Malaysian, not just to yours (unless you are smart student with cgpa above 3.5). If you really berkire with your tax money, better just move out from this country.

http://thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?fil...03&sec=seagames
Almost as many officials and observers as athletes for the Games

PETALING JAYA: The SEA Games are heaven sent for Malaysian sports junket junkies and there are many of them.

Officials, and so called observers, will be taking the opportunity to go on a holiday at the taxpayers’ expense. Of course several of them are bona fide delegates like the coaches, medical staff and others, but do we really need 261 officials accompanying the contingent. And that does not include the 338 others - VIPS and observers - going for the Games.

Malaysia will have one of the largest contingents at the Games in Jakarta and Palembang starting this Friday. The 869-strong contingent is, in fact, the largest to particiapte in the biennial regional Games outside of the country.

There will be a total of 608 athletes, 253 of them under Category B (which means they are paying their own way, and 261 officials – a ratio of one official for every 2.33 athletes.

But it is the number of the supporting cast – the biggest ever for a Games – that raises the eyebrows.

Accreditation cards have been issued for 279 observers and 59 VIPs swelling the number of non-athletes to a staggering 599. The question is how many from this group are making the trip at the taxpayers’ expense?

The VIPs alone outnumber the 48 people from Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) and National Sports Council (NSC), who will actually be doing some work at the secretariat in Jakarta and Palembang.

While Category B athletes have to fork out their own money to prove themselves at the Games, some of the officials and observers will be on an all-expenses paid holiday.

In the observers’ category, there are genuine supporters like those from Famemas (20) and Telekom Malaysia (27), who are sending a big group to cheer on the Malaysian athletes at their own expense.

But what are auditors and State financial officers doing with the contingent? A study tour perhaps or maybe a shopping trip?

There are many sports officers from the states in the observers’ list. What they will be doing is anybody’s guess. Wouldn’t the money be better spent on the young athletes to gain exposure under Category B?

There are 45 observers for athletics - more than the 14 officials who will be looking after the 48 track and field athletes.

OCM general secretary Datuk Sieh Kok Chi, while lauding the enthusiasm of the supporters, said they should not use public funds to go on a junket to the Games.

He said that it would do a world of good to the Games’ profile if more supporters show interest in the biennial event. And one should not question their intention if these people pay their own travel and accommodation to catch the athletes in action.

“It is good if more people are there for the Games. It will draw sponsors and boost the economy of the host country,” said Kok Chi.

“We at the OCM do not object if sports enthusiasts want to go for the Games but they must be transparent about their funding. We do not condone people using public funds without proper justification.

“OCM are all for the effort to build a culture of having supporters for the Games. In Europe, people save money to make their way to support their national or favourite teams.

“Some states may fund some of their sports officers for the SEA Games. But it should be worth their investment. It will be good if these officers return home with some sort of report to improve their State sports affairs and not simply enjoy their holiday at public expense.

“Look at Vietnam. They will be sending 180 reporters for the Games. The country is taking part in 36 sports and have targeted to win 70 gold medals. This will do good to the profile of the Games.”

Malaysia, for all its huge presence, are targeting a mere 40 gold medals. Malaysia won 40-40-59 in Laos 2009 and 68-52-95 at Korat 2007.

two wrongs don't make one right.

You're spending money that my father paid with his hard earned money. I did not even take up PTPTN/JPA scholarship because my parents have enough savings for my education.

Rot starts from the body. If everyone's shit, you get shit government. Don't be a hypocrite.

if u are muslim, u already know why u should pay ur loan.

put aside the corrupted ppl and the one that use tax money for own purpose coz they will going to answer all what they had done later in front of God.

if i were ptptn borrower, i will pay rather then make sin by not paying what i had borrowed.

Bayar balik da your PTPTN. Takde sapa pun paksa ko ambik masa ko study dulu. Tensyen betul bila aku tengok thread ko nih. Ko nak jadikan Malaysia cam negara kebajikan Somalia ngan Rwanda ke.

Nice troll, good luck applying for a government job. Cos when you fill in the detail in HRMIS (Human Resource Management Information System) which is compulsory for all civil servant, and they find out that you haven't paid 1 cent yet, they'll cut it out from you salary automatically.

Can anyone understand why Shahrizat Abdul Jalil’s family gets RM250 million for a project while those households with the income of less than RM3k get only RM500?

Perhaps it is better for us, the average Joe to go into the cattle business too so that we can also get RM250 million and with that amount of money we can bring our family members, relatives and friends on that Caribbean cruise we have always dreamed about.

It is the epitome of cronyism the way the project was awarded to Shahrizat. No two ways about it as after all she obtained the contract from her Umno colleague Muhyiddin Yassin who was the Minister of Agriculture at that material time.

For the average Joe who only gets the one-off RM500, this is an insulting joke! Perhaps RM500 can last for a month in the remote rural areas but in the city, an extremely stingy person can survive on that amount for one month only if he is single and does not need to pay the rent, the utilities bills and is not servicing any loan repayment.

In short, he is living-off his parents’ wealth or depending on others. Otherwise, the situation of a KL person who earns RM500 is termed as ‘die-standing’.

This is clear evidence that the wealth of the nation’s elite (read: the cronies) is beyond comparison. They have posh cars, properties galore and a jet-setting lifestyle while we have to slog day-in day-out for a better future.

The elite can afford to go for breakfast in Paris, lunch in London and dinner in Vienna all on the same day while the poor and the low-wage earner struggle daily to put food on the table and this situation of extreme income and wealth disparity is perpetuated by the BN system of governance.

Thus, the ‘People First’ slogan is a blatant lie to con the poor and the marginalised.

you the chosen one who still have to pay for PTPTN even if you got first class!

Cmon la...ptptn gives lots of people especially the poor to enter university and increase their level of education. Yes its a loan but better than nothing. If you take the loan then pay back please. Dont even think of buying other stuffs like iphone or gadgets and thwn give excuses no money to pay back. Thats not fair to those who pay. And if you dont want to pay then study harder and get first class. That wayayou'll be exempted from paying as it'll be changed to scholarship. I know it's unfair for those before year 2010 though. Anyways pay up as there are others who need the money more.

since people don't want to pay ptptn, try to not paying back house/car loan.

and then ask gov to abolish car/house loan.

the difference is the consequences. if u dont pay bank loan u will be declared bankrupt forever.

if u dont pay ptptn u just cant travel overseas. if u need to travel overseas at a certain time, then just repay the loan.
