nice to see the new edifier range. although the P3060 is really disappointing. the gold colour, and the satellites similar to MP210 but not as beautiful. also, why 6.5" if only 14W...
the rest seems interesting, btw got remote?

QUOTE(Cosef @ Dec 20 2010, 11:01 PM) Should be around RM160 if not wrong, do check the trade zone section for the latest price. For good sound and cost a lot, Asus Xonar Essence STX. Cheap and good, ooAoo SQ210. But i use....onboard sound card. Stay with onboard if you have tight budget, it is not that bad as you think. second this. with tight budget just stay with onboard and invest in better speakers. when budget allows, can just add soundcard with ease. beside M3400 maybe Edifier E3100

i think not your tweeter fault. when i mod my M3300 with other satellites, it becomes extremely bright and very fatiguing. it has to do with the amp inside.

i think that's the case for M3300. cause for my R501 when i plug other non-bright satellites it's not getting any brighter like the case with M3300.
not sure about the power though, i did not change anything inside. i want to reuse the system for sth else but have no idea.

QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Jan 3 2011, 02:49 AM) Hey guys, Mobile phone sound output is better than laptop output(sound card) ? For several months I'm using my M3400 with my laptop, but today I tried with my Nokia X6 to play some music, and I notice that the sound was so clear and the bass was deep and tight ! And I try again with my friend iPhone, the sound was just....WOW ! Really unbelievable, I try to turn louder and the sound just getting awesome ! Btw, is there something wrong with my lappy or is it really mobile phone had better sound quality ? Note: All song played are 320 bitrate. tried with my desktop realtek alc883 vs iPhone 3G sometime back. the realtek wins. both uses 320kbps mp3 without any EQ applied.

the S550 does not have built-in flash memory to save the state and settings of the speakers.
i remember my Edifier R501 have the built-in memory, it will save all settings including the state of speaker. if it was switched on before i unplug the power cable, it will auto-on the next time i plug the power cable.

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Jan 11 2011, 06:14 PM) Edifier partnered with DTS???? and in Las Vegas too?? Seriously Edifier name might be as big as Altec or Logitech in the near future. i think it already is. last time Edifier used to have no-frills speakers. but now it all seems like the altec and logitech, more towards design. but it's a good sign, maybe one day edifier can have 5.1 which supports dolby digital and dts, even maybe THX.

well if your CS21 on max obviously pawn S530. i tried playing s530 on stores and crank it before it bottoms out and compare it to others like c3, s730, mx5021, mx6021 and t3. well S530 is weak, but still not as weak as C3. well, last but not least can always try this to pump your bass haha.

QUOTE(cuteoz @ Feb 14 2011, 03:32 AM) to tell you the truth, Edifiers are very high in quality, like using MDF boards, and other speacialties... but sometimes they wont be perfect for your ears, like everyone's taste is very different. anyhow what I can say is that Edifiers is not for everyone. Edifiers Bass is weak overall.. Compared to Logitech and even fake sonicgears. but remember to always compare the ones You want, some may like edifiers and some may like Logitech, and Logitech does manufacture awesome speakers agree. edifier have its own sound characteristic. one of which it is not rich in bass, so bassheads wouldnt be happy about it. so guys, before you buy a speaker, please listen to different speakers first because everyone have different preference.

QUOTE(power911 @ Mar 3 2011, 02:26 PM) Digital Optical (Toslink) Female / 3.5mm Male yea... where can I find em? wanted to pair my S530D with iMac but not sure where to find this adapter. do normal electrical shop sells these? if you cannot get the adapter, just get a toslink cable, mini male to male. congratulations for the new S530D. so how does it sound? ------ In addition, the C5 seems like a very promising product. I know now Edifier starts to have many speakers with USB/SD playback, which is good. But with infrared remote control, it become far more useful since people can just use the C5 as a music system without PC / MP3 player. I just hope the bass would be clean like C3 but enhanced.

QUOTE(everclear @ Mar 5 2011, 11:18 AM) I'm totally new to speakers..so... After a week...I'm still a bit undecided between S330 and R1900T3...Usage is 40% music, 40% movies, 20% gaming...Things troubling me: a) Connectivity - S330(D) - Do I need the digital input? Just using on board sound, or I can also move my Creative Blaster audigy 2 ZS over from my older pc (>4 years). On the other hand, R1900T3 is the easiest to connect I think. b) S330 has lower freq, from 20Hz..R1900T3 starts from 46Hz IINM. I just wonder whether this range makes much of a diff...It's not easy to test specifically this range. c) Most important question!! I stay just near mid valley. Anyone knows what's the best price for R1900T3 and S330 (or S330D) at the PC Expo now? Anyone knows? I only see Logitech. I don't see Edifier booth... http://www.pcexpo.com.my/floorplan/mvec.pdfThanks!! a) digital input is not necessary. this is only useful if you have 2 source you want to connect at once. if your onboard have SPDIF then can use your onboard. otherwise audigy is also good b) frequency response stated 20hz is not true. well it's true if u put your ears on the subwoofer itself, but S330 will never make it to 20hz. so there is no need to worry about the range. the important part is not the range, but how well the system sound to your ears, so basically you need to listen before buy. c) i don't know, lol
