Based on the full article, it does not really stated that Yuri wants to leave. It just some hint inside, and well, the media just put that on the headline, although I believe the main point in Yuri's comment is that he is optimist that he would get a chance to prove himself. That's the main point, and well, the media played around his word, by saying he wants to leave.
Attacking wise, he's good, but defending wise, I am a bit worried. He's hard in tackling, but not really good in marking and tracking back. Remember his back pass lead to goal in pre-season ?

well then let's hope he will. i don't think he'll be content with only cameos here and there. the malouda left wing/yuri right wing combo has yet to be tested though. i'm quite confident a whole lot of teams will have problems dealing with that lethal combo! anyone watched england u21's recent game? studge was pretty lively. unlucky not to get a goal though.

they have been paired on the left together but i dont see yuri and malouda working very well with each other.
if they would work together better, im sure our left side would be very devastating. the likes of ashley, malouda and yuri are left footed. all of them can whip in nice crosses and all three of them can beat defenders and get into the box. on paper, its definitely a very scary combo. on the field, its not shown yet.

yupp james we know about that. nowadays its difficult to say with utmost confidence that we WILL sign a certain player (heck even ramires took such a long time!), no matter how positive the signs are in our favour. the safest way to confirm a new arrival is through our official site, as the market is that much more difficult and vicious nowadays. lukaku's a talent but i wouldn't keep my hopes up bro. same principle goes for the fella in your avatar

Lampard will sit out tonight's match and JT will slot back right into the squad after a full rest on his hammy.
Carlo won last month's Barclays Manager of the Month Award by the way. With two back 2 back 6-0, it's a no brainer really. Congrats Carlo!
