even a lost but not a bad game i think blues are playing... looking at the pre-matches, this seems more lively... but still we cant always depend on all 1st choices to be there...
hope this will make the team and CA to buck up when season starts... |

QUOTE(bo0t @ Aug 9 2010, 12:04 AM) both 2 goals came from our left defensive side ... ashley looks a bit slow in this game ... but nvm ... we r still playing the same team tat made us double champions ... yah, he looks like he is giving up on the team and waiting to go to RM... although the news on soccernet seems not likely, until the transfer session close.but where is the ramires boy ar .. |

hmm, without 1 exp defender... not that i think he is that superb, but still we need to get 1 more, if 1 of the current defenders are out...

good game, but still got alot to do at defence... 1st half was consider lucky / bad defence by WBA...
but the 2nd half back to business as usual... this is how the team start the season, start and end at the top of the table... |

there is no official news on the Franco been sold... but for 2 mil, seems little
the game againts stoke, just that we have the good to go, just that the ball is not back at the net, a.cole volley - hit the bar, drogba header direct to keeper, kalou rush in - should be trick the keeper. i guess, with the injured lampard during that game, the team got lost abit, as most of the crucial open cross is done by lampard... hope he recover fast and get back to his form... |

the blues back is not up to par and unlucky for the miss kick from the WH stricker... felt that ramirez is not the fit role to play, he should play more up as there is essien and mikel... still think yossi best fit the lampard role...

the goal againts is quite a good judgement by SP. but i still think that today chelsea playing so-so againts a team like WH. we were lucky on the hit the bar... this is 1 of the days that chelsea is walking a park on we lead so early...
as usual essien still the best and hardworking player... this season he should be the 1 that watch for... another 3 points and only contender to us will be the gunners... |

first away europe game with 3 points for the group. like last night game, although at defence we are laggin of fast response to react to attacks. (seems nowadays our defence is not as strong as JM era,but the we traded off with more goals)
Essien, Yossi and Anelka was having a good game. Zirkov think need more games, as he look rusty and Kakuta should have play ahead of Malouda. Another win, just cant wait for this weekend game. |

good come back but then it's not the attacking we seeing having problem, but the defence...
i dont mind we lose out in the game, as i know the team will come back strong on the coming MC game... seeing alot of potential on some of the youngster, but i would saz turnbull again fail to impress... |

from the game ramirez is not that type of player to play that role... this game i think the ref is not making alot of good decision, when the blues should have know that city is playing a rough game and should have them make bad tackles and make them aware...
also the subs from today, not really a good choice accept josh, should have bring him in earlier for ramirez... this shouldn't be a lost game for the blues, but it's football, anything happen... hopefully the blues will come back strong next game... |

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Sep 25 2010, 09:50 PM) i also realize in the first half, ashley and iva not going forward much. they kinda hesitating. perhaps for safety reason? that left our attacking side with 3 people upfront and limit the choices.. yes, i think due to the paste of the city players, CA learn it from last 2 games...i know the blues always have problems playing with big teams, not always a sure win, compare to JM style... |

QUOTE(sanfa @ Sep 25 2010, 10:06 PM) In contrast, Ramires still below par for me.. frankly speaking I rated Benayoun higher than him.. he really need to improve otherwise he will sit at the bench for long time when lampard back to action.. same, Yossi better player then Ramires... even i think young josh play better in this team / type of play... |

QUOTE(kink_ass @ Sep 25 2010, 11:52 PM) I thought the game was entirely physical towards the final third of the 1st half. there were alot of roughing that referee shouldnt have jst let the play go on and this is where man city benefited. yes, same tot, seems but then the blues should have discuss on that on the half time and don't play a game of waiting for the referee to blow the whistle... sorry to saz that should be adapt to that, rather then cry foul...tot we going to drop points to the top team, but seems we still have that advantage... cheers to our ex-play Di Mattheo... only wait for tomorrow MU game and see...
