I got my umbrella n stand from DG Color for about 100+ only. U can also buy the square softbox type.
Hey, 100+ umbrella!?!? Isn't that cheap? I'm actually looking for a budget shoot through umbrella setup for my try-out SB-600 wireless. But so far, all also require 200++ and above for such setup. DG Color's a brand or a shop?

Hey, may I know does the light stand comes with a place to mount a speedlite? I'm actually looking for a portable shoot through umbrella setup with one speedlite. If its only 100+, I would wan 2 get one too. How tall can the light stand go? Yrs is the bounce kind or shoot through kind BTW? Sry 4 the multiple questions... smile.gif

@melatonin I use the Aster and no complaints about it. I guess one key difference would be the Aster is less than an inch high, whereas the Tetra is 2inches+?

Personally for me Flexibounce works better than Stofen (only have experience with the original SB900 which is similar to Stofen). But my favorite at the moment still the Demb Flash Diffuser.

between demb flash & speedlight possible to take it for travel? too big ? as in bulky?
and also isnt demb flash need to adjust the position on the diffuser as well?

demb flip-it is good. still find it better than stofen and maggi cup. you must know also that they modify lights differently.

I prefer the DFD over to flexibounce. Flexibounce loose too much power at wide open space.
