Is there a need to create a new thread? Why not keep all the info in one thread.

Yes, that's possible....
Only if the SD channel are encoded into MPEG4 and have 16:9 widescreen ratio....
Byond can accept above format, but normal decoder cannot accept MPGG4....

BBC World is 16:9 widescreen. Any more widescreen (SD) channel available? icon_idea.gif

One thing i notice about NHK ch963 is:
QUOTE
After the date of July 5, 2010, all programs on NHK World Premium except its own international broadcasting programs produced by some (for broadcast in Japan) will broadcast a 16:9 letterbox.

Hi, i just want to ask.. im using WD 320 AV as my PVR, lately my live pause tv didn't work very well. For example, when i pause the channel, after 5-10 minute, i try to resume (play) it again, for the first 5 second, it works very well.. after that, the picture's stuck, but the audio seems okay i guess. So anybody out there have the same problem. Hope technical people from astro can answer this question.. Thanks in advance..

happened to me. I was asked to reformat the HDD; although I can't remember the procedure. Call tech support and ask.

Anyway reformatting it solved the problem of the freezing although I lost some recorded programs (GER v ARG, for one...)

I am not too fussed about that though - since my main use is for pausing live TV

smile.gif Thanks for the solution.. i'll try it after this..

another question, when the channel is in recording condition, i push the pause button and then play. After the recording finish, i try to play it again. The file is corrupted. Why? Have you face this? Do i need to format the HDD too? blush.gif
