Not sure. But you can open priority at any Singapore banks. Tell them you want to open priority banking and all of a sudden you got no more banking restrictions. lol

Walk into the bank. Of course do you have like SGD350k sitting around?. They will even fly their people to Malaysia to meet you.

If parking RM250k in Malaysia to open priority in sg, I think only HSBC allow you to do that.

Thanks for heads-up. Need to see if persistently better than Sunway money. If yes can consider them but have to factor in slower and may have lots of documentation.

Maybe it is just temporary promo or maybe it become sort of like "permanent promo" as with the care of cimb sg.

MBB sg with debit go for ar-rihla. Minimum balance only S$200 https://apply.maybank.com.sg/regionalcasa/A...Opening/arrihla

The OCBC sg acct with debit card will require S$3,000 minimum balance. But this requirement waived for the 1st year.  So u can open OCBC with debit card first for 1 year, then close acct and open ar rihla. You can get another type of OCBC acct with minimum balance of S$500, but that won't come with debit card

CIMB no debit

May I know for Maybank sg, how long it takes to complete the account opening?

For those of you who have been able to open a Maybank SG account, has anyone been able to open a USD currency account?

I called twice on separate occasions to ask and one agent said not available for Malaysia residents, and the other says I can but need to go to a branch in SG to open.

Anyone have a Maybank SG USD currency account?

or

Does anyone know of a way to get a USD currency account in Singapore?

604weekendwarrior try to get DBS multicurrency account (after opening DBS vickers), as this is the most useful one. can deposit/withdraw USD from Moomoo SG or Tiger for free. need to go SG, and no guarantee

Willingness to come to SG.
Willingness to wait 4-6H
Willingness to beg
Willingness to open DBS Vickers account
SGD3k
Utilities bill
Malaysian bank statement
Pay slip
Income tax filling

Above should be more than enough. But no guarantees.

Hi sifu-sifu sekalian

I’m having trouble making a DuitNow overseas transfer to myself, from Maybank Malaysia to Maybank Singapore with my registered mobile number.

I tried using both the Maybank2u website and the MAE app, but both attempts failed. The Maybank2u website gives an "Invalid Data" error, and the MAE app says, "Transfer failed" with instructions to visit the branch.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so, how did you resolve it?

Screenshots are attached for reference:
