QUOTE(nestahng @ Jul 11 2017, 03:37 AM) Hi all bro and sis, I just open an Maybank iSavvy account in Singapore. Now I want to transfer some money from my Malaysia Maybank account to iSavvy account in Singpore for investment purpose. Questions: 1. Is there any daily transfer limit from my Maybank Malaysia to Maybank Singapore? 2. I realize that there're 2 way which I can transfer from Maybank Malaysia to Singapore: Foreign Telegraphic Transfer & Maybank Money Express. Is there any transfer limit for both and do they share the same transfer limit? 3. Anything would happen if I exceeded the daily limit? Thanks! Congrats,... bro,.. it's not easy to do this anymore today..... You've made your very first step here !!

TT = RM30k/day via M2U, Money Express = RM10k Counter = Unlimited 3. Cannot transfer anymore la. Have to go to counter and transfer. This applies for all types of TT not just to SG. http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...-Accounts#72519http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...al/ACC-Accounts

I tried to transfer some money from my Maybank MY account to Maybank SG using Money Express. However, from the drop down menu, I can't seems to find Singapore as option(They have Indonesia, Myanmar etc. instead). Is it normal? Thanks.

Never use any remittance service by banks. But judging from that page, it seems like Money express is for those indons, banglas to transfer money back to their country. I try to transfer more than 10K MYR and it went on and say it exceeded daily limit. Daily limit apparently is only 10K MYR. I choose to credit to my saving account(Not sure if this is the reason I have to 10K MYR limit). Do I miss anything?

Accounts & Banking > Transfers > Transaction limit maintenance > Foreign Telegraphic Transfer > Set it to RM30k.

If you don't want to go down to SG, then choose Maybank lo. If you want your money park with a SG bank, then no choice for you to go down. The question is whether SG banks want to let you open or not? That's the question. They mentioned now they are very strict towards opening account especially against Malaysians. DBS Vicker is a stock broker. It's not a bank.

I can quite certainly say the first thing these bankers will ask for is a work permit. So yeah, you got your answer.

Only some charges if account balance fall below 500 sgd Singapore banks don't really play on annnual fees. Mostly play on minimum amount inside the bank account. Yes there are some bank debit cards which have annual fees but as I mentioned, SG banks usually pay on minimum level. That way, they are "assured" that they always have free money sitting inside there to make money. AFAIK, there's no charges for Maybank iSavvy except for that.
