if that sound really came from your HDD, thats mean your HDD is dying.better run some test to see its condition and meanwhile, email to Dell Support about your problem.

920XM is the only i7 mobility CPU that successfully reach 'sufficient' level for me, personally.lesser than that is afraid to bottleneck in certain games and more that that is simply overkill, unless you just aiming to benchmark your system.
