Such claims are (if done) ONLY valid under very strict fully-supervised lab test conditions eg as in Mobil 1 tests.

Does NOT apply in day2day driving and road/city/rural conditions nor w/o strict control and various conditions (which normal car users nvr comply) set for such tests!!

Kenny, I heard this is the brand recommended by most track and turbo users. Is it true the property of the lub oil doesn't change or burn under extreme/fluctuate temperature? I'm thinking on using this oil but it aint cheap too.

Engine: 1.6L Campro IAFM - P. Persona.

Brand: Shell Helix HXZ
Oil Type: 10w-40 Semi Synthetic
Price: RM99 per 4L
My Thoughts: Just alright. Engine gets a little lazy as it nears 10k KM.
My rating: 3/5

Brand: Toyota
Oil Type: 10w-30 Semi synthetic
Price: RM91 per 4L
My thoughts: Superb. FC was better, far better acceleration and far better engine response. Engine feels much willing to move then before. Still feels good even when its nearing 10k KM.
My rating: 5/5

Brand: Pennzoil Platinum
Oil Type: 5w-30 Semi synthetic
Price: RM89.50 per 4L
My thoughts: To be advised - Just bought it.
My rating: To be advised

now i can comment on this:

Brand: Pennzoil Platinum
Oil Type: 5w-30 Semi synthetic
Price: RM89.50 per 4L
My thoughts: Superb. Very good acceleration, good engine response. Engine feels very willing to go go go go! Gives a more pleasurable drive compared to heavier oils.
My rating: 5/5

no. that is the most common misconception we have. actually its widely used on new generation engines nowadays. check out Peugeot, Citroen, Toyotas, Hondas and etc. They are now using xW-30 oils.
