API 'SM' oils are designed to provide improved oxidation resistance, improved deposit protection, better wear protection, and better low-temperature performance over the life of the oil than API 'SL' oils.
copy from other website.. just google it.. find many good answer.. avoid API SL.. SL is introduced in 2001.. now already 2011... |

bro gagak, torco SR1 5w30 fully can last for 10,000km as other fully syn oil did? pls clarify me... tq... might consider this as well... =)
actually i did heard something from others, if u always drive ur car, u can go for fully oil... make u go less trip to sc and save money... but if u less drive ur car, means do service after a long time... recommend to use semi as if use fully, the interval of servicing might be too long... n the oil stay in the car inside too long not good... i dunno is it true onot but sounds weird for me... |

QUOTE(gagak_84 @ Jul 5 2011, 09:28 AM) this is correct.. that is y dont used cap ayam oil filter for fully synthethic.. I will suggest get back original Japan parts.... But now just too much fakes around the market..... So I'll just skip the fully-syn and using semi-syn... Then service it every 5000-5500km....for honda, dont used blue colour oil filter.. very2 cap ayam. stick to hamp and hamp only. |
