I've used Mobil 1, Shell, Motul, Torco and some other crap oils. If you ask me, Torco SR-1 is the best I've used so far. No doubt it's expensive but your car really feels lighter and smoother acceleration. Mobil 1 is good as well but Shell is hopeless among these 3.

from my research..

eneos engine oil from japan quite ok..
viscosity of 20w50 is the most frequent used by most of us..
rm55 will be the price range..

a lot of recycle engine oil in the market especially for castrol,shell.. if you saw any workshop using the engine oil with a relatively cheap price, pls just buy ur own engine oil and change it at their w/shop..

love ur car !

some workshop like to con people, they put engine oil only until it reach minimal limit, then the rest of engine oil they songlap
3-4 car they songlap can sell like one bottle of engine oil
so make sure that after service if got engine oil balance, take it back with you

Had anyone heard of Voltronic from German. ??

I've use Motul 4100 Semi Syn 10-40W, turns dark kind of quick.

Tried SUMO Semi Syn 10-40W, nothing to shout about.

Motul turns the oil darker in very short mileage. Compared with my Nissan C22 van using voltronic 15-40W semi syn, already hit 2000km mileage yet yellowish.

turn darker fast but how about performance wise? maybe the grade is not suitable.

please bear in mind.. motul is among the top ranking oil in the world..+ join gt Japan last week.
same class as redline,eneos,torco,q8,lucas,royal purple..

My advice is to go for proper establish oil brands. Please remember you're living in Malaysia and it's not hard to make fake oils. I can also do it behind my back yard by filling in oil bottles with rubbish oil, seal it back and sell off.
