Hi guys, currently in dilemma for which brand and model to buy a laptop, hope all the sifus here can give some recommendations. Thanks in advance!!

1. Brand. Currently using Toshiba and no problem with it, but any brand will do.

2. Budget. RM2.5k

3. Specs. Not sure about this, main usage is just for college, surf net, little gaming like DotA, photoshop(never use it before but want to learn as thinking of getting a DSLR), youtube, fb.

4. Size. Don't really matter, as long not too heavy

Btw I still can wait for the next PC fair or if some new models are coming around 2months or so.

Bought An Asus Lappy A42JR HAHA

Thanks to All Sifus-Sifus For Guiding me into this lappy thingy.

Just 1 Question,

My ATi Graphic Card is HD5145 1GB series.

Is`it okay ?

I mean Last You Mentioned was like HD54XX or something..

Is`it that mine is the low-end ones ?

That means you bought A42Jk, not A42Jr...
HD5470 vs HD5145 is almost similar, just that HD5145 don't have DX11...

why you buy the Asus A42JK ..??
we dont recommend that for your budget

v = GT 335M

u can take a look also:

but still, it's a tri core on the A42Dr, and it's a dual core on the 2 i mentioned above...
