any lowyat shop got sell a42jv ,,, this mon i go c-zone no stock ? need to book to pay deposit 1st..thinking tmr go survey..

oh yea juz another last question...isit possible to get dell to install windows 7 32 bit instead of 64??
dun really prefer 64 thou the laptop is gud enough to support 64 bit

if you want longer battery life.. there are Acer 4820TG [i5 430M + HD5470/GMA HD] --> RM 2699

but A42JV still win...

the best netbook i can get price below RM1300?
will be use for work and dual boot windows with ubuntu

i been flipping around the page. That found that those around 2k are in my budget.

Hope u could give me the best suggestion that i need.

Requirement:

1. Switch on Long Hour (i Will get a Air Master Cooler Pad)
2. Mainly for Movie and Internet. Seldom on Game
3. Less Heat
4. Long Lasting use, because i seldom change. (My current PC is 7 yr Old P4 2.4 only.)
5. Modern design laptop... ehehehe

Hi guys, just an update, it seems that some shops could help u extend ur dell laptop warranty. Was looking for the Inspiron 14R yesterday, price roughly RM2250, and some shops could help u choose the suitable warranty plan, plus they say can get discount on warranty if they do it, compared to extending warranty urself from website. Hope it helps if u're looking for a dell laptop at lyp.

spec: 14", good graphic card to play games and watch HD movie, batt life not too horrible, speaker is quite loud and clear

currently eyeing on Asus A42DR (triple core) and A42JR (i3). which one is better?

is there any more a42jr..??? but if i3 proc.. then simply no... better take i5 version


if u can raise your budget up to RM 2900 .. go for Asus A42JV [i5 450M + GT335] .. the best graphic card so far [below RM 3k,not imported ]

and by the way HD5470 is low-medium card..

GT335 is high medium card.. which is , thats why i suggest go for GT335

well it's for my relative actually, and i'm not so sure what game does he play.

btw, any review on the battery life of the A42DR? seems like i can't find any on the net. is it around 3hours like Intel procs or barely 2 hours just like K40AB?

not switch between graphic card.. but switchable graphic... as Intel GMA HD is consider accelerator..not dedicated graphic card
