Hi guys, I'm planning to get a Dell Inspiron 14R soon, and I'm just wondering, if I purchase from the shops at LYP, can I opt for extended warranty? I know if I order directly from dell, I can extend the warranty, but I'm not sure if the same is possible if I buy directly from the shops at LYP. Would you recommend buying direct from Dell or shops? (Need it quite urgent, hopefully before this weekend) Thanks guys! Another question if you don't mind, should I choose 3 years Limited warranty (RM287) or 2 years Dell Care Plus (RM314)? The 2 years is a bit more expensive (+RM27), but it has complete cover, which is useful if I accidentally dropped my laptop or something. But I also wish to extend the warranty as long as possible.. Hi guys, just an update, it seems that some shops could help u extend ur dell laptop warranty. Was looking for the Inspiron 14R yesterday, price roughly RM2250, and some shops could help u choose the suitable warranty plan, plus they say can get discount on warranty if they do it, compared to extending warranty urself from website. Hope it helps if u're looking for a dell laptop at lyp.

Hi guys, I need recommendation for a laptop. 1. Brand - Prefer Dell or Asus, but others also ok 2. Budget - Less than RM2000 3. Specs - Any, cos for normal use only, no gaming. It's for my dad. 4. Size - At least 14" I'm thinking about getting the Dell Inspiron 14 (Processor T4500) with 3 years warranty, which totals at RM2011. Is it a good buy? Thanks!
