Hi everbody, any suggestion to me buy a new laptop..the specs as below

1. Toshiba/Acer/Asus
2. 2000
3. intel i3 core
4. 14"
5. have HDMI port.

p/s:if also can tell me which shop i can buy it at lowyat or somewhere else?

actually i have my eye on asus g73jh.. but then.. it is not here in malaysia..
and i dont mind anything above.. just the laptop that can play hardcore gaming..
i dont wanna buy a new desktop coz i always travel ..

Why not import it? A lot G73JH user here import it....
And G73JH is available now, the price listed is RM9099, but importing it is much cheaper...

No, its pre-built model, so no upgrade processor...
ram is already 8GB...

As online fraud, well, at least the user in this thread has gotten their G73JH and usually cost around RM6K with shippings....

Asus A42Jv or A42Jk?
Jk processor is i5-520 and jv is only i5-450. Does it really make a difference or just slight improvement?
Jk : ATI 5145 1GB DDR3
Jv : Nvidia GT335M 1GB DDR3
How does the g card compare to each other?
The price isn't that far apart too.

How about those laptops compared with

For an overall winner, it goes to A42Jv ...perfect for gaming and also the CPU doesn't lose much ...GT335M is way over HD5145 in terms of gaming ...HD5145 is lower than HD5470 in terms of performance

If you want a big screen, then 5471G is a good choice but still lose in overall performance compared to A42Jv

Characteristics
good battery life , i.e can last 4.5 hours

a little gaming
ill only be playing football manager and company of heroes
since these games are quite old already , i expect them to run smoothly (<40fps) around mid-high setting

media
if possible got nice webcam and headset so can skype easily

light enough to carry around college (2-2.4kg)

i have no preference on screen size whether its 13 , 14 or 15 inches

so far i have done my research
and i have narrowed down to

Lenovo Y460

ASUS UL80VT

ASUS U30Jc-A1

also i need some opinions about the ASUS A42Jv because theres no reviews i can read from the net

id like to know for the A42Jv
how long is the battery life
specs
and how well it fits to the characteristics as above
