shell ron 95? well, i think this topic has been mention here before... most of the ppl using it will hate it...
but i didn't expect the shell ron 97 V-Power to be that bad...
i had pump full tank v-power, now eager to get rid of it out of my petrol tank.
later might go genting and use up all the petrol...

1. Check market value via motor trader. from either their website OR the magazine.
2. renew ur car insurance at insurance company according to market value. no need to insure it high high. end of the day anything happen, they only pay u according to market value ONLY. no need through stupid insurance agents. hate them.
3. Go get your original green card from ur bank and go renew ur roadtax at post office OR jpj whichever you prefer. OR pay around RM5 or RM10 at the bank to ask them renew for you. but usually i prefer to do it on my own.
4. return ur original green card to ur bank.......obviously!
5. take off ur expired roadtax sticker and stick in the new one!

The extreme UV sun rays that we get in Malaysia or for that matter, this region, is not only bad for Proton cars but all cars. I owned a Nissan prior to the current Persona & believe me, the effects of the sun on a car using imported components is just as bad. Plastic parts of my old Nissan would deform, grey colours turn whitish, black steering column switches turns whitish. Unless your window glasses are super dark tinted, your interior trim parts will deteriorate if exposed to prolonged sun rays. Alternatively, park you car in-doors or under the shade. Pointless to complain about defects if you do not take all the necessary precautions. There is always a price to pay to ensure that you car looks good. Try to park in-doors at all times.

Hi guys,

Can someone please tell me what are the stock speaker sizes in the front door panels and on the rear deck? Are the holes big and easy for replacement or modification ( like cutting of the door steel part ) required? Cant tahan the stock system already. Lol.

Thanks smile.gif

Well, I'm gonna change it anyway tongue.gif But I need to know the sizes first. Anyone here knows the stock speaker diameters and what drivers can fit in the existing hole without any modifications whatsoever? smile.gif

The answer is very much appreciated.

6.5 inch up front.

I just added (i am b line owner) 6.5 inch components with tweeters on the dashboard sides, stock rear speakers and added a nice powerful pounding 12 inch sub driven by amplifier at the back. You need a ring bracket screwed to the hole then baru u screw ur new speakers on it. It sits better. Oh, make sure the "roof" for the speaker's butt is installed or else everytime wash car or rains, ur speaker's butt is wetted and rosak faster. The amplifier only drives the subwoofer. The rest is driven by the player. With proper sound setting at the player and amplifier.......its all pretty nice. Oh... Fader adjust more to the front. In my setup, Bass set at -1/-2 or sometimes 0 or +1 depending on the music being played. Treble set at +3 and fader at F3. Sweet. smile.gif

Hi bro, thanks for the reply. So the stock hole in the front door panels will accept 6.5" drivers yea? Nice to hear about your system, and thanks for the advice. So did you DIY your system? Will get my installer to do the roof thing for me. Anyway, will be nice for Persona owners to share their systems here!

by stock is 6 inch, the door metal panel can only fit in 6 inch size speaker, so in order to fit 6.5" speaker, u need to add in a 6.5" bracket and drill some holes
