Copy and replace the maps to yours memory card.

Yup i did all that, pasted all the extracted files, but still cant..

want to buy wildfire, but ipoh here only have black color =(

The screen resolution is wqvga, it is better than Tattoo, but lower scale if compare with Legend, Aria, Hero, Desire.

Furthermore, due to it is the 1st HTC android phone with such screen resolution, maybe a lot of apps in the market still not support.
If you want a full compatible of apps with your phone, better consider Legend, Aria or Desire, Galaxy S, milestone

actually the screen resolution is same with Tattoo, is just that Wildfire is 16m color and capacitive touch screen while tattoo is 65k color with resistive touch screen.
with that kind of price tag, i think as a rational buyer, shouldn't be complain too much. u pay what u get after all.

just found out another problem, even though has set the phone to vibrate when receiving sms, but its not working.

Its qvga (320x240) la bro. wqvga is 400x240.

European countries are getting froyo update, so by right, malaysia will have it too, but will get it later. So be patient.

already installed and killed the process but the papago still running background ..showed in battery use...got any other solution?

RM699 with contract is what i pay for... for me it is a great deal...

try to check it manually... i use advance task manager, untick my clock so it will not kill the process and affect my alarm... i tried to uncheck some apps manually, so when i click the apps icon it will not kill it... so u migh need to manually check it to kill it...

Anyone can teach me ?? I downloaded the MFM..and i extract it already..then how do i put into my phone ?? i mean which file and put where ?

One solution suggested by someone on the Papago thread:-
"I heard this way works so if it doesnt work for you hopefully someone else can help.
Run the MFM-PPG-C100415a from mfm website.
It will make a folder named MFM.
Copy all the contents of this folder and replace the one in NaviSEA-Maps-MALAYSIA on your android.
Dont make a duplicate, just replace all the files.
In the end you should have a folder named MALAYSIA with the contents replaced by the contents of MFM."

I hope your MFM file is the old one, if it is the new but beta one then it will not work in android or iphone. Just have to wait for them to finish.

I just heard from a HTC distributor that Froyo will NOT be available officially for the Wildfire. According to him, it will only be launched for models with a minimum 1GHz CPU.

Anyone can confirm this? Cos it will be real shame if the Wildfire is capped at Android 2.1.
