just checked vf maxis, i want to buy only phone RM1199, but the stuff said cannot buy only phone, i hv to use the plan. is it true?

yes u need to get a plan to get the discount, Maxis having roadshow in KLCC.

Just switch to the postpaid plan for android.
Rm50 postpaid +Rm48 data plan per month. (cheapest)

Do we relly need to have data plan? For iphone, it almost confirm that data plan required due to the iphone away keep online.

If you want to get the maxis phone + contract then yes.
But you're always welcome to buy from outside and then use it without data plan. (charges are like Rm0.10 for every 1kb if not mistaken)
Android allows you to shut off the 3g or 2g or wireless so no need to worry there like Iphone .

iphone also can shut off the 2g/3g

that papago rocks. it really work. and free.

but i feel the map is abit hard to see. but it really bring u til that place.

well if u take a data plan u can get rm500 off, y not? Means u get the fon at rep but free data 500mb 4 12 mnth... BTW u can disable the data when u don need it, iPhone or Android same only

just finish install papago x5 on my wildfire. well, gotta say the display is really

and just found out smthing, u gotta turn on the GPS satellites to enable voice navigation.

well, other than the poor display, its still a good app. At least u no need to use wifi/3g for navigation.

yea... except the display of the phone other things working nicely...
but can't complaint coz it is just a starter phone...
