The best results for video conversion newbies on a Mac platform(and I'm very particular about my PQ) is using Handbrake with iPad presets. I get better PQ with my own custom presets I made on Quicktime Pro, the end result is pristine one-to-one PQ from Blu-ray MKVs that matches the iPad's 720p capability, but it will take longer to encode, and the resulting video is saved to Quicktime .mov format. You can encode to MP4 with Quicktime Pro, but the resulting video is still either grainy, with edge artifacting, or with tangible downgrade to PQ. I am cursed with eyes that can see these minute details.

So, if you're on a Mac, try that link I've posted. The end result is the second-best option I have encountered, other than my own cooked Quicktime Pro workflow.

So basically it can be done with Maxis, i.e. get another sim for same number but use for data only (maybe subscribe at additional $ as what happened in Singapore with Singtel and Starhub). Why Celcom cannot do the same? This is what I'm asking for, since I already have my Unlimited 3G with them. If this is the case, might as well use my Maxis line (prepaid with free data taken with Iphone 3Gs) for use with my ipad, just need to cut it into microsim. If this does not work, what the heck, will get Digi or port either my Celcom or Maxis number to Digi. Why these telcos make my life so difficult..........

Er.. well I guess that's right too but let's just say U need to be close enough to the "whom" for them to trust U with the information.  In any case, my guess is that the iPhone 4 will be released by both DiGi & Maxis some time in September.  Whether it's early, mid or late September, it's hard to tell.

Yes you are right, I admit I made a mistake with the 900Mhz iPad frequency. I misread somewhere that there was actually two SKU's for the iPads but apparently it has not been the case. It seems to be the same for all iPads. But I stand correct on the WCDMA-900 issue that Celcom apparently uses at some areas.

Why so "ma fan" you can easily cut yourself with a pair of sharp scissors. Just make sure you don't trim off any of the vertical lhs n rhs gold edges. You can safely trim off the top and bottom gold edges up to 0.5 mm without any problems. So far I have cut 5 sim cards for my friends. Sometimes I wonder why people so scared to cut is such a simple task, an old man like me can even do it
