Hey guys, haven't sold off my D3000 yet.
Just now my friend offered me his D90 + Meike grip + Tammy 17-50 2.8 for RM3.2k.
Wondering should i get this or a new one. Which one do you guys think is better?
Thanks a lot smile.gif

Ap price without a doubt. u don't need to ask I doubt they'll tell you even if they do it. If they told you, who'd buy a local set when they can buy at ap set price with the same benefits?

in the case of SD card storage for travelling, my 8gb ultra II managed to store 3100+ Jpeg Fine (medium size) during my 9-day trip 2 weeks ago.

at the begining of the trip, it showed that i can take 1500 jpeg. then along the trip i just shoot, shoot and shoot, and didnt borther about the storage space since i have a backup sd card.

at the end with 3100+ Jpeg (a few RAW, about 10, for nice scenery), i still can take for another 100+. i think the estimation indicated by the camera is not accurate, it's under-estimated.

in conclusion, 8gb+8gb backup is more than enough for a 7-day trip. unless you're a super heavy shooter who shoot more than 1000 shots per day.

Like the star effect for the lamppost....i tried it out myself before when looking through other forums.....got the same effect as you but somehow other dslr user manage to get the 4/6/8 point star effect instead of the 'sunburst' effect that is similar to yours.....they didn't use any star filters though.....tried out the same settings as they did but couldn't get that effect
