Nope , still at young age  biggrin.gif , but I am sitting about 30- 45 cm away from the monitor , so words would be extremely small , but when I sit close , the brightness of the lcd really hurt my eye.Even i reduce the brightness when viewing full white page it still strain the eye.

I saw some LCD full white color can adjust the gray to yellowish , is it possible ?

Thank fof the website  smile.gif

Any problem for this LCD? heard rev02 better right? How to differentiate between rev01 & 02?

you have to physically inspect it,it's at the back of the LCD,near the ports

to each his own i guess....
anyway,to make your gray yellowish you should be able to do it by adjusting the colour temperature setting in your LCDs OSD,make the temp lower/set the colour mode to warm

Previous LCD will have white shift but this one have dark shift .

Haven heard of this issue, didn't know LCD can "melt" by this bare temperature.
Maybe can use fan to blow directly at the back on it to preserve cooler operation temperature?

Notice the 2nd picture still has slight "watery" effect, your ceiling dripping?
Since this is warrant by premium panel, should be able to get 1-1 exchange.
*
Yalor, Never encounter this before. But the fact is there. the effect can be slowly noticeable without concentrate look at it after 4 hours continues turn on. I believe due to his temp goes higher. quickly switch off cool down to avoid it continues melt that "thing" (WTH is that!? hard coat 3H !? Inside!?) sweat.gif . Plan to put one fan at back by your advice. Good idea.

BTW 2nd picture that "watery"effect is due to camera. no related to lcd smile.gif

This LCD quite hot. By putting hand at the back (not the cooling plate), for my own feeling. Its almost same as Graphic card "hot air" blow out by cooler. sigh... nearly 60'c? may even worst if touch the cooling plate inside.

Must have Smooth Air ventilation in your room.

Hi, all. er.. my question is not spoon feeding as i do some research but the answer does not satisfy me. Hence i looked up for user to share their experience. biggrin.gif

My question is, which one is better between Dell 2209WA and Dell U2311H.

does 1680 x 1050 make any different to human eye with 1980 x 1080 ?

and i heard that 2209WA wont suffer the tinting issue that U2311H have. And why the online price for Dell 2209WA is Rm749 while Dell U2311H is Rm649. rclxub.gif

thanks. biggrin.gif

that's the viewing angle porblem for TN panel LCDs,IPS and VA panel LCDs don't have this problem [or it only affects the brightness a little bit]

Generally speaking, the 2209WA doesn't have the tinting problem of the U2311H,eventhough not all have it but quite a number comes with this issue.IF your work depends on colour uniformity then you're better off with the 2209WA.If you like to gamble a bit, then get the U2311H.The difference in resolution is quite large, and it's something very much perceivable by your eyes

Can anyone recommend me a good ~20-24 inch monitor that can be bought in retail in stores in Lowyat for around RM600-700?

Planning to use it for mostly gaming (SC2) and watching 1080p movies; thanks in advance smile.gif

Hi my first post here,

I need suggestion.. now i am torn between 23" and 24" monitor, both at 1920 x 1080.

pixel density :
23" Pixel Density: 9176 pixels / sq. in.
24" Pixel Density: 8428 pixels / sq. in = almost same as my current 20" (1600 x900)

Do 23" will clearly look crispier (sharper) than 24" one from the same distance point of view or the difference will hardly be noticed ?

Its hard to find shop that displays these big LCD around here Taman U.. so Please share if you have experience about this.

Thx
