Why not consider U2311H? it below your budget of RM800
HD Movie just look awesome on IPS panel compare to my old Samsung 226bw TN panel. I play Avatar side by side. IPS win hand down.

For gaming, depend on how good yr eye to notice the motion lag. I cant detect it.

actually my cpu is on the table (hard 2 reach if put below table) and a 23" incher surely cannot be side by side [that all..he he]......on viewing guide....I'll guess its depends on what r u looking at.....games, movies or just word processing and ur monitor size.....for movies and games [for 23 incher] ....2 - 3' from the monitor is quiet comfortable...for word processing...well a little closer b'coz of little font [high resolution]

Laptops very rarely have DP or DL-DVI which is required for the full resolution support for U3011...

Dell E-IPS.. 23" 1080p...
