So I'm thinking around F8, ND4, ISO 100, 3 second shutter haha..then u need to rephrase... u want to take sunset and the beach together where the waves hit the shoreline...to create the dramatic effect.. cause IMO..if just take the sun without the beach..1/10 or 2 sec also no diff... my bad...

Your friendly neighborhood photographer
|
why not just fully utilize the kit lens 1st before buying this buying that? you dont even know what use is an ND is for, and yet you still want to buy it, then when photos come out all dark and underexposed, complain why cannot get what i see from those nice nice pic one.. be it 50mm or kit lens (which ALSO has 50mm range) its gonna work great if you know how to utilize it. all there is are settings. if u want brighter shots, prop it on a tripod and put a longer shutter, dont even have to use f/1.8 from the 50mm for portrait, stand further a bit use 70mm, and there u go, bokeh!
