From what I know , months ago should be around 1.4k-1.5k.. though I wasn't quite updated with this lens.
Well, in alphanatics there's people selling it as 2nd hand.. go and check it out =D
*
haha..but i want to get a first hand lens lar..since my dad is ok with it..XD

Wao cool, then u should drop studio Zaloon a call and ask him for the best price.
Sorry can't help much, am used to the prices in Penang.
*
ooo..how's the price in penang? zaloon seems quite far from my place..if my lens got problem..i should send back to tamron service centre?or i can send it to camera store?

I remember asking CNS like 1 year+ ago its at 1.35k but that was before the prices of yen increased.. so I assume its should be 1.45k now?

For warranty wise you can always go back to the shop and ask them to send for you or likewise go straight to tamron's sole distributor in Msia which is Futuromic.
Best is u could call up Zaloon, might be pricey a lil bit , but as what the people in the forum say, good service and huge range of the lens series.
*
hmmm...difference also rm100 only right? haha...i think go amcorp buy la...thanks!

Hey guys wanna ask about an event telephoto lens ...

I was interested on 70-200 F2.8 lens for indoor events such as fashion show  but doesn't meet the budget for Sony 70-200 SSM .... is there any good alternative?
*
get the 55-200mm lens la...its f4-5.6...for my newbie usage..i find it quite an acceptable budget lens..maybe other sifus here might beg to defer... tongue.gif

Just a noobie shot, don't feel the so called softness la. LOL.
*
hmmm..in my noobie opinion ur shutter too fast already..the wheels also totally frozen...so the picture dont show that the car is moving..more like parking on the tarmac...

or maybe u purposely wanted it that way.. blush.gif

zstan : That wasnt really panning. Actually that wasn't panning at all. The car just came out from the pits so it was going slowly.
*
hmmm...if lower to 1/50 can see panning right? blush.gif nice shot nevertheless.

zstan : Look. Kitlens can do wonders. See jimlim007's examples. (:

forgive my stupidity.....but what wonders are u refering to?the colour?the lighting? the composition? hmm.gif hmm.gif

haha...in broad day light kit lens works very well(or wonders) for me...but during low light conditions then the problem starts to creep in...

@wonka
nice pics bro..!got pp?

@moo
haha...quite true..actually pretty much depends on the settings used & timing & composition as well...quite evident between the universal studios shot and wonka's flowers and sunset..both using kitlens...but wonka's pics got this 'wow' factor while the theme park shot was rather.....erm...'normal' to me? still finding what wonders u were refering too...hmm.gif my noobie opinion lar....=)

@neo_lam
i already have f58am...although ddidn't fully maximise it..=/

@cjlai
POISON!! pics so sharp even at 2.8.wow!
