zstan : Minimum you need RM300. The food and drink there is extra expensive and you can't bring own water. RM200 for ticket + pit walkabout.

put ur camera to sunset mode, put on tripod and snap away. laugh.gif

use ur kit lens to take sunset...the 50mm is for potraits.. sweat.gif

Well I think your SAL1870 could do good for u. Pair with perfect lighting n location. PERFECT!

Set standard or Vivid? what F stop?

cassplayer : Basically any setting would do. Use slightly high f-stop ( f8?) and meter properly. If not it'll be a normal PnS shot.

cassplayer : Don't need tripod la I guess. For my, my hands steady enough la. Yea make it more dramatic and prevent overexposure I guess? :s

IMO...handheld also can..

but use tripod then u can figure out the horizon better..of course u can use the..what-u-call-that-thing-with-green-liquid to check ur horizon as well.....and of course to prevent camera shake...

if using high f stop u have no choice but to lower ur shutter speed...u can raise ur iso to compensate but i'd prefer to use iso 100/200...

white balance maybe can change to sunlight?to create warm mood..

if all else fails..use sunset mode!! laugh.gif

rm300???OMFG..i think i just admire you guys' pics from here la... blush.gif
