QUOTE(alfredfx @ Jun 6 2010, 08:22 PM) STOWA Flieger watch with the Baumuster B dial is one of the rarest historical Flieger watch which has ever been built (approx. 1940 /55 mm diameter) Refering to our information only 42 pcs have ever been built. For this reason the STOWA Baumuster B watch – the rarest large Flieger watch – is very interesting for watch enthusiasts. well they are giving an intro why the release this B dial. it was rare back then. the new model is 40mm iirc and its not going to be LE.this is nice. i should have bought this instead of CW well that CW is cheap just ~GBP$200 or EUR$240 right shouldn't have deplete your funds. The B dial would have cost EUR$630+EUR$39 shipping. U could order it now and wait for mid to Late Sept this yr for them to ship. still have 3 mths to save up the EUR$240 U just spend. go check out the 1st thread on what I had.. Was contemplating before I decided to pull the trigger for Laco. http://www.steinhartwatches.de/index.php?i...0&Sel_ID=18#120 hey your laco is 42mm right? I am thinking of ordering Flieger without logo (us$660).. thing is its 2824-2, though its nicely done with silver rotor.. kinda turn me off. I would have got a Antea creme 39mm with far less money (us$375), not to mention I like the design too. no silver rotor and serial number not a big deal here. the Antea 365 with Soprod A10 is another choice its smaller. I do have to Zenith sporto at the same size and I don't mind the small size. decide to drop Flieger... now its btw Antea Creme and 365.... hmm.... guess I'll sleep on it for a few day and see.. QUOTE(ck77 @ Jun 11 2010, 02:03 PM) Ya is 42mm. lots of ppl want their Flieger thus Stowa can afford to jack up on prices even its using the same movement, may it be logo or no logo. case and all shouldn't be any different. The Stowa Fieger without logo is more expensive than with logo Antea not a bad choice, simple and elegant design the only diff I see is the silver rotor. Antea 365 is small.. thinking can pass to my kid when she grow up. thing is not sure how often will I wear a 36.5mm watch. cost of keeping movement running here runs about US$150. getting a higher end movement maybe more worth it to maintain it. the regular creme is just US$370+. For watch for passing down, got to be my speedy for sure well, I am thinking of passing things down slowly when kid turn 12 or 13. U wanna pass down your speedy to a boy at 12yrs old? not the laco?I just got my spouse try on a Zenith, at 36mm its large for a lady. for a 12yr old a 36mm maybe huge for a kid's wrist even for a boy, a gal generally have smaller wrist. I'll be passing my quartz tag for sure, can let the kid bang around and not worry have to service the movement. Still need to sleep on on for a couple of days and think about it. QUOTE(Cheenoo @ Jun 11 2010, 08:11 PM) guise, what brands do you recommend i look at? go the page 1. christopher ward is 1. getting online U maybe have to check with alfredfx experience with regular post.budget rm 900+- analog classic round face with leather strap quartz or auto (??) other brands usually ship DHL/Fedex, cost more but better tracking service. Jap can try Seiko or Orient. quartz alot to choose from. I not a big fan of quartz.. any brands U looking at? besides classic round face, do u want a display back? date? water resistance 50 or 300m?
