Still remember this FS subspecies pic from Tioman?

After many years of playing and hunting FS.... finally i caught these 2 species of fighting spider already!

Maybe i didnt see properly the subpecies i caught from Colmar French resort that day because i arrived home late evening and exhausted..
Bz with work yesterday till 8pm didnt have much time for the spiders also.

Today not working so take the spiders out for photo shoots and videos.
After see in outdoor clear sunlight..then only i realized these 2 subspecies spiders are the ones that i've been searching for years! ..
Their size oso around medium - big.

Yeah.. its now confirm the Blueish fighting spider i caught is a MALE.. And yes both of these species CAN FIGHT ALSO!
Mindstorm.. not all blue jewel fighting spider are small size with short arms.
The one i caught is big size!

Wah Viper! Swee man the blue FS! I see oso stim especially Rindaman. You caught them at the Japanese huts in Bukit Tinggi? I went there last year didn't see any evidence of FS there. Seriwaza is normal FS issit?

Very Unusual Style of Fighting by the Subspecies..! I like the way Genji fights, always forward and gostun, i think his opponent will be really made confused by it..

Nice FS photos also..
Both Subspecies are with Striking Colorful Stripes, very Rarely seen..

I think it is Good to learn more about how the HongKee play/hunt/keep the FS.
I feel that they are very Passionate towards the FS too, not lesser than us for sure.
And i think that People with Common Interest should always interact with each other more! The HongKee are also very Professional in the handling of the FS, can even organise an Event where the Chief(aka Xarms) in one of the Team personally demostrates to the Team members on how to fold the Fighting Platform where this is not seen in SG FS Scene although we also have our Folding of Dry Leaves Home. Thus i really Kudos to them..

Ya.. i also like Rindaman colour very much especially at outdoor sunlight. Very nice striking blueish colour. Its colour looks different at indoor.. abit brown with striking light greenish colour.

I caugh Genji from the lower carpark Spider Lily plant area . Its the car park for Japanese and Botanical garden.
Rindaman i caught from Botanical garden area. That place have limited type of leaves that FS likes.

Yup.. Serizawa is a normal FS caught from my housing area pandan leaves.
I just want see how normal FS reaction when fight against other subspecies.. kinda suprise when i see Serizawa give Rindaman good fight!. Lotsa arm grable and chops at close range..

But Serizawa lost easily to Genji.. kinda kecut when see Genji wide/long arms i gues.. lol

Normally FS have dragging symptoms after fought many timeswith chopters.
I think maybe the venom its too strong and weaken the FS too much already. Most FS unable to neutralize the venom and become chopter or have the dragging symptoms..

Hope Slappywag can recover better out there.

Wow, super cool shiny blue FS.....very nice. I too was at Bukit Tinggi 2 years ago but at that time din think of FS yet. However during that time, I did think that it had FS potential. Next time I go to Genting or Cameron Highlands, will surely make time to hunt. Would be nice if I can video the cool FS with my FS camcorder, Sony HDR-CX150.

I am planning to have a road trip with family to somewhere around JB, probably in late March or early April. After my FS luck in Pahang, I am optimistic about catching something big. Any suggestions as to which resort/hotel has FS?

In the meantime...Yo Bro Krauser, before you can relax and stretch yourself from your holiday, I Exspiderking is ready, able and willing...for a FS bout. In fact, I was born ready to fight FS. Caught 5 spar today in anticipation......

Amazing you can find 2 different subspecies from an area of close distance. I have been there twice last year, one company trip and another one bring my family there, but even though I tried flipping leaves, I didn't find any. Also with so many people there at that time, I didn't spent too much time doing so either.

I like the RindamanVsGenjiRd1 clip. Shows the very contrasting style of both spiders, with Rindaman going side to side like our normal fs and Genji going front to back. Like Ura said, very unique style!

How many spiders you caught all together?
Serizawa is normal fs izit? Did you caught it there also?

Maybe not as common like last time but there still is. One example is our recent kaki VIPER57 and also an article I linked about school children in Bahau. Last year I was hunting spiders in one of the forest reserves here with my friend, when a group of older teenage malay boys(maybe orang asli decendent) came up to us asking wheather we were hunting cicak tokay. We said no, and we chat a bit, and was told by one of them that he too had "spider king"(meaning fs) but sold some off to younger school children but still keeping some in his house.
Happy to know this hobby still carry on even though not necessarily shared on internet.

These 2 species caught from different location.. Rindaman is from Botanical garden leaves, whereas Genki from Japanese Garden lower car park area.
Yeah. i went there quite early in morning abt 10am. tat time still not many ppl around. I also even went to the Ladies toilet outside area which have good type of leaves to hunt for spiders..

I caught 4 spiders al2gether.
Rindaman, GEnki, smallsub (subproessa) and 1 female FS.

I didnt spent 2 much time hunting bcoz have to bring my parents to lunch and also tour around.

Yes, Serizawa is a normal FS. I caught from my housing area just to see how normal FS react/fight with these 2 subspecies.
Serizawa is an average small-medium size FS but i'm kinda suprised tat Serizawa dare to put up a strong fight against the bigger RINDAMAN..
The 1st round Serizawa gave a strong chop and Rindaman retreat. If not because Serizawa lost balance in the 2nd round.. the fight could last much long.

There will be rematch coming soon.... let me feed them 1st ..

Arrangements have been made for FS fights this Sunday.

Sunday morning, Bro Krauser, Bro Ura and me will be meeting at 0730am at Bro Ura's place. In the afternoon about 1330pm, I will meet the four FS Heavenly kings, namely Bros Buaya, Towkay, Seng and Ah Kim for another FS bout.

Had a nice long chat with Bro Buaya last Sunday at Nirv###. He is a seasoned FS pro who had engaged in FS bouts at the highest level, for decades. He proved his ability by catching Foxy and Amon, two giants in a matter of weeks. One FS tip he gave me was to look and concentrate on the middle portion of the Nirv### lily portions and that was how I caught HellRaiser this afternoon, a comfortable SL sized FS.

Yo Randy, this being my last week of hunting b4 I start my new job next week, i'm kinda dissapointed with the weather.. wanted to go NTU to hunt one last time but rain .. zzzz.. anyways I dug up the FS from my flowerpots still have the following plus some additional ones which can fight (prolly forgotten spars from last month dumped into my flowerpots which levelled up)

3. Hunter (tribute to Trevally's original Hunter coz both are M size with only 1 teeth but damn brave fighters)

Hi Everybody

Enjoyed myself totally this weekend.

Yesterday (190311) check out 'new'spot at Warr##, then went to Nirv### and then to NT#. Caught nothing significant and the only acquisitions were two large money plant leaves for fight platform.

Today (200311) morning, met up with Bro Ura and Bro Krauser and had our Fs fights. It was irony in its highest order as I found that the most garang name for a fighting spider, HellRaiser turn out to be a super ice cream and cannot fight. On the other hand, the cutest name for a fighting spider, Baby Bop is a fierce FS who can handle a killer chopster. Bro Krauser gave me some valuable Fs catching tips in particular to catching FS in NT#. Thanks Bro Krauser.

This afternoon, I met up with the 4 heavenly kings and Alex at Yish## and had our fights. What was surprising was Gold's performance against Foxy. Well Gold is one hell of a lucky spider as he fought Slappywag at the 'right' time when Slappywag was old. Likewise, Foxy has been in capitivity for a very long time and Gold fought him at the correct time. Honestly, when Slappywag and Foxy were in their prime, Gold is not their match at all. Personally i feel Rindaman's striking blue colour look more contrast on a black surface. Bright and dark colour.
I tried on white cardboard and green leaves before.. look ok only..

Why not you select 2 from my team, from biggest to smallest, Gold, Hitler, Boss, Baby Bop, Naruto and HellRaiser. (**Gold is SL size only and HellRaiser is ..err..even smaller)

After your selection, I have to think of a training programme to counter Rindaman's "Confusing fighting stance". Ha Ha
