Anyways.. I advise u to take the resort transportation.... Easy...
So u wont have trouble finding transport when u reach there.... Plus the hassle of getting to the jetty on time... And if the taxi driver hears u speak they will surely kno u r tourist.... Den will kena pao kao kao... Haha..
Plus the resorts transportation usually are much cleaner than public transport in Kuala Terengganu...

I just came back from Redang.... It's fantastic....... I stayed in the Laguna resort.... Very good resort with great sea view, delicious food...it's worth to pay more to stay over there...


the water is crystal clear.....actually I cannot swim, but I also really enjoyed for the snorkeling... I was guided by a laguna staff...he was good, he brought me around and show me all the sea animals, nemo fish, coral and so on.....better than you swim yourself....


beside the Laguna, there are many other resorts, all can reach by walking...you can experience different activity provided by different resorts...


It's too hard to explain in words, the best thing is to experience it yourself... I m sure, you will love the beach...

thanks for the info laguna is so nice! but abit pricey though and considering the fact that its a class trip, so it has to be a budget trip. so means laguna and redang bay shares the same part of the beach la rite? which u said its nice? hehe..

hey aichiban. you took the rm268 package is it? some website says it includes snorkelling but some said it excludes snorkelling. so not too sure. does it include in the rm268 package? they said after 25th june only the rm268 package applicable. oh btw, the rm268 we chose is the quadruple 1.

we plan to book by calling up straight to the hotel itself and taking the rm65 bucks bus which i think they provide but its excluded from the package. from all the survey that i have done, i think this hotel provides the most stuff and cheapest among all. hopefully it'll turn up good

this kind of crucial matters u should discuss with your resort. i am sure they can arrange something for u.

i went to 3 islands already, lol ^^ perhentian, redang, and lang tengah. i recommend those who wan to go these 3 places, get a nice resort is important. coz it will affect ur mood. haha^^

these are the resort i live at :
4D2N Perhentian = Cocohut resort (quite bad, anything oso need $, wan to drink water need go to the kitchen and ask them take for u, not buffet style meals.)

4D3N Redang = Kalong (nice service, but the beach quite steep and short, although it's wide, walk to laguna also moderate distance, need pass a small jungle. almost like unlimited snokerling.)

3D2N Lang tengah = Redang Lang (sand is the smoothest, 2snokerling only, jungle trekking was fun. Sea water mayb is the clearest.)

It just my oppinion, cheers ^^

waiting for the next trip to another island in terengganu region such as tenggol, kapas and so on.

not infront of redang reef resort meh? heard from the beach boys there that the beach at reef resort is small so more easier to c.
