It's ok if you stay in redang lang. I've tried that before its fun and relaxing. If you are girls just be careful a bit.

You need to buy a package first...goto the link givn earlier.....As part of the package u can request them to arrange land transfer to Merang Jetty at ~RM25/pax to/fro....

you can take taxi to from the airport to merang jetty.. and ask him to fethch you at merang jetty on your way back.

guys.. i'm planning to go redang on1st june.. should i buy the package straight from redang reef or should i buy through ping anchorage..any price difference??

how to get from bus station to merang jetty?? is it walking distance?

since it's my 1st time there.. should i just get it done through ping anchorage..pay some money and let them arrange for me...

any opinion, advice??

Book from resort directly , buy bus ticket from putra bus station ( transnational....)
pelangi resort office is only across the bus station , then they provide land transfer to jetty.
june ah, peak season oh..... have fun...

Where got Land transportation in Perhentian? It's an island-lah.....If u buy packag, where most ppl do, the package include all the snorkeling trip, 3 meals per days & free drinks 24 hrs & etc. The only cash/ not free service is the rental of the snoleling equipment, & any other water sports not mentioned in the package

I know..i mean land transfer, from mainland to the "island". Ya, i took package but i'm not sure whether got cover or not. AFAIK the snorkelling and food got cover. Normally the rentage of the snorkelling is how much?

I think I'll need a waterproof camera

Diving , snorkelling....1day the guide can bring u to a few spots for snorkelling.
get the fin then u don't need life jacket , try to dive a few meters even u r snorkelling ( bring googles..)

which resort u stay? i don't quite like the beach in perhentian....minimal cash to bring for renting snorkel set ( if not included) n fins.

Bring camera n extra battery n don't spoil ur camera ....

urs is island hoping from perhentian ? then no chance to land redang lo....if i m not wrong...

rental of mask should be rm10, not too sure ....long time didn;t snorkel...

it's a new resort.. located at teluk kalong beach..

since i'm a student.. price oni rm 330 per pax for twin sharing...

the last time i planned, march 04/05
rm270, rm30 bus. now can't get loo....
