Btw, redang beach resort....kinda stupid, coz we taking air asia flight at nite 9.20pm
but they ask us to check out at 9.30am... while depart ferry at 3.30pm...
imagine frm 9.30am till 3.30am.... we were like bored till death... (but can see chicks wit bikini)

Luckily Laguna can check out by 12pm. Reach Merang jetty at 3pm and they send us to their rest house for us to rest and bath before fetching us to the bus station at 7pm.

tis is not stupid...tis is a normal!! u can alwiz take mas flight at 4pm..if u reallyy wan to follow your schedule book your own private jet and ferry transfer!!

nobody can advice whether redang lang resort better or d'coconut lagoon resort better?

Based on the picture from what I found in Internet, d'coconut lagoon resort is better loh, at least got a swimming pool. And the price is more higher also.

if its normal, they should put us on 10.30am ferry rite... after check out... but they didnt.. they put us on 3.30pm ferry.... at least consider us abit rite...
arhh... wat the heck....

can say that perhentian much more better.

In terms of beach and house reef, I think Perhentian is better. But the sad thing is if you're snorkeling, you'll definitely most probably go to almost the same places Redang Island ppl go too. The Marine Park is an exception, every island there goes there

you can alwiz request that..wat is the different if u take the 10.30am ferry?u still have to hang around KT before your 9.20pm flight.u will regret if u take the morning ferry cause u will found out that kt is nothing much to do compare to redang. at redang at least u can c bikini chicks or you can even go for the snorkelling,swimming,kayaking...for your info some resort only have 1 speedboat transfer that in the early morning(no choice!!)..

Which means no matter which island u go, u snorkel at the same place?

Some resorts have their own house reefs. the only likely place all resorts goes to is the one near the marine park there or the west part of redang, known to be a place where turtles usually goes

Dear all, it is possible to go to Redang from Merang Jetty without package? I will be driving there. THx

Depending on the resort...If the resort sell package & room, then u can opt for room rate instead of package...check on the previous link to most of the hotels there....But why? W/out package, u might end up having a more expensive trip-leh for eg:

Package RM300 (#D2N) - Inc all -in 1 - ferry, snorkeling, room & makan

Individual:

2 nite Rooms - RM200
Ferry to/fro - RM80 (Not so sure)
2 snorkelling trips - RM100 (Agak-agak)
Food - RM80 (Very expensive on island)

So why u want individual if my agak-agak price is correct?

Well, because it is too late to buy a package now, plan to go on Saturday night. So, is there a speedboat available without package? Like pay per trip.

well you can opt for Redang Island one day tour, but very expensive
