Highly not recommended staying at Holiday Villa...Open disco will finish till mid night..its too noisy and annoying you to sleep .

Laguna Redang Island..have Indoor Disco..but the sound still can hear and not too noisy. ..

Buffet style should be easier then ala carte.The Deluxe package served only for Buffet...For Premier Package served by Ala Carte.


My advise for quiet resort..far away from Pasir Panjang..

1. Wisana Redang
2. Redang Kalong
3. Berjaya Redang Resort

Laguna Suite with better view..but too pricey..Additional of RM500 per room per night from Deluxe Sea Rates.. PM already...

Redang Lagoon Chalet....located at Pasir Panjang.Its wooden chalet with Air Condition attached with Bathroom.Its nice places for relaxing and its clean.You can walk from Redang Lagoon to Redang Holiday or Redang Laguna..around 20 -30 minutes.Its middle of Pasir Panjang..There No night activity .About the meals..not recommended but you can try other place likw Redang Bay or Redang Pelangi...they have shop selling food and drink with reasonable price.

Yes..for Direct boat transfer from Redang Island to Perhentian Island..is RM700.00 per boat .The journey will take 1 hour 30 minute.

My advise..after you come back from Redang Island to Merang Jetty...you can catch bus or taxi to Kuala Besut Jetty..the fare around RM10.00 by bus (You have to wait at the front of Shell Petrol Station in Merang )...taxi around RM110.00 per way ( Kuala Terengganu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty ).The journey will take 1 hour 30 minute .Its save you money by using this alternative.The boat from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island..will depart around 9.00 am..10.00am 12noon and 3.00pm..

From Sultan Mahmod Airport to Merang Jetty...by airport taxi..RM50.00 per way per cab or RM10.00 per person per way by bus (we come to pick up you ).

Yes...RM50.00 you can fly with firefly from Kuala Terengganu to Subang..but you have to make advance booking within 3 month before.

The last Boat to Redang Island from Merang Jetty at 9.00am and Laguna Redang at 12.00 noon.You miss the boat on that day. My advise..overnight at Resort ..the lowest around RM150.00 per room.Tomorrow Morning at 7.30am or 8.00 am we came to pick up you to Merang jetty.


28 June....depart 1.00pm.
Check out from resort at 9.00am or 10.00am...arrive at Merang Jetty..11.00am..before 12.00noon you can reach at Airport and check In..1.00pm..flying home.

well..package just for 3 Day 2 night not 4D3N...unless you reach at Merang Jetty before 9.00am that day.

Its much cheaper you choose the package 3 Day 2 Night Snorkeling trip...

Laguna Redang Resort..just 2 room only ( 5 pax 1 room ) .some resort give quad and triple sharing room.

I would prefer Redang Reef Resort..offering good quality and value of money.Its good timing on 23 March till 29 March because end of monsoon season .Mostly 3 Day 2 Night snorkeling package among good choice to visit Redang Island.

1. Sri Serai A La Carte Restaurant located at Ground Floor .The meals serve by set buffet and with fruit basket. .Sometime food taste good and sometime suck!..all Menu depends to chef


2. Sang Suria Restaurant located at upper floor. All meals serve by buffet only..with good view to see the beach.

I have been visit Laguna Redang once..last year.i just misunderstanding about location of Restaurant.To reconfirm with location again..i call Laguna Office this morning,they told me :

1. Sang Suria Restaurant at Upper Floor..serve Buffet style
2. Sri Serai Ala Car te Restaurant at Ground Floor..serve Ala Car te style

Yes. given wrong or misleading information will make the customer angry.To avoid this problem,Firstly .get the information from customer..if we don't know then call the resort ,after that..inform to customer.This my procedure to sort out the problem.

I am going to Berjaya Redang Resort..maybe next month..to survey the accommodation,facilities ,food,customer services and airport . 3 Day not enough for me..at least a week..

Customer always right..

Berjaya Air will commence flights only by 16 April 2009 due to Redang Airport upgrading
works. Therefore, Air-Inclusive packages will be available from 16 April 2009 onwards.

If i not mistaken..its Return Fare..

Public bus(Sani Ekpress ) (2+ 1 Seat)..just RM38.00 one way from KL to KT...then transfer just RM10.00 one way to Merang Jetty...total cost RM48.00 one way..Return is RM96.00 per person
