Some resorts at Redang Island will be open on Mid February or 1st March.I will let you know when the resort will start opening.

@Lang Sari Resort at Lang Tengah island have early birds promotion only RM288.00 per person.The package is 3 Day 2 Night Snorkeling include

Perhentian Besar is better then Perhentian Kecil.There are many choice to stay chalet or resort.Many place for snorkeling site..and jungle trekking.

Its very difficulty to compare overall about Perhentian and Redang.what i mean value of money , quality of services , Low budget ,beautiful coral and clean beaches.Example Per night redang (RM100) much expensive compare to Perhentian you can get as low RM60.00(Chalet).But if you going by package its much cheaper at Redang as low RM288.00 per person 4 quad sharing room.For snorkeling site..i will choose Redang because many sites to snorkeling such Marine Park ,Shark Point and other.

From 1st March till 31st March ,there have early birds promotion.The best offer from Resort.From May till August is peak season and the rates is higher compare other month.From September till End of October ,the resort also have promotion.

If you coming more then 20-30 person,some resort will give FOC( Free of Charge for 1 person only ).

Redang Reef Resort is the best choice of LYN Forum member.There offering best value of money,good services and nice location to relax.

From Airport or Bus Terminal to Merang Jetty just RM10.00 per person per way.Return cost you RM20.00.The journey will take 30-45 minutes only.

The fares from KL Hentian Putra by bus is RM38.00 one way.The bus will depart at 11.00pm and arrive at 5.30am early morning.Boat will depart at 9.00 am from Merang Jetty.

April is best time to start travel at Perhentian Island.

Added on December 22, 2008, 9:31 pmLaguna Redang Resort almost the best place at Redang Island after Berjaya Redang.The most perfect resort but too pricey compare other resort.According the rates 2008 for 3 Day 2 Night Deluxe Package 4 person sharing room is RM458.00 per person per package.That mean you have to added RM58.00 from your budget.The rates for weekdays from Sunday till Thursday.

How about Redang Beach resort..? The package is RM419.00 per person (4 sharing room) weekends rates.Among the best resort at Redang.

For other resort such Redang Pelangi ,Redang Bay,Redang Reef and Redang Holiday almost the rates same.

There no problemo during weekends but please avoid from Public Holiday or School Holiday..much crowded compare other days.

There no problem for people can't swim at first time because they have to wear life jacket.(Floating Jacket ).

For package 3 Day 2 Night Discovery Diving no need PADI license ,its just basic dive maybe around 30 minute or less 1 hour.You will guide by Dive Master and Dive Instructor .Its good for someone want try and to feel the first experience as diver.

Laguna Redang Resort
Located at Pasir Panjang.Mostly tourist from Local and Singaporean .Suitable for family to bring their kids playing at swimming pool.At early morning or evening,you can walk at beach to see people playing football and volleyball.Here most perfect choice of people relaxing with their friend and family..excellent choice.. Due peak season,there many people come here from April till September.

What is your budget.? The minimum rates is RM330.00 per person for 3 Day 2 night snorkeling package at Abdul Chalet.
The maximum rates around RM450 - RM550 at Perhentian Island Resort ,Coral View Island Resort or Arwana Eco Resort.The many choice for resort and chalet.
