I remember the conclusion was the Hyundai is a more comfortable car, better FC and loaded with better gadgets among the 3 but the most expensive also.

However the drive is less energetic compare to the Kia due to the steering response and suspension setting, somehow i the pickup or engine response were noted to be less energetic for the hyundai.

The cruze scored quite well will better cabin built, better NVH however losses out quite abit in the overall performance, the weight to HP ratio wasnt that good, i think the car was quite heavy.

Wonder who could donate his time to scan the pages up hahaha.. or find a link that someone has scan the pages up

Actually I starting to find that the Hyundai design a bit weird now, especially when saw one new Elantra in Singapore. whenever see a Sonata passing by, I really dislike the front design, it has lost the freshness when it was launched.

There's always a risk when buying a car with highly contemporary styling. Once the worldwide design cues change, the once highly stylish will end up being very old fashioned.

Just take a look at the Hyundai Coupe over the different generations and you will see how odd they look today.

I tend to agree with you on the front styling of the Sonata, a bit off the wall. But the rear styling is really nice, in fact it has grown on me. Just need to fix up the front grille...

yea.. clean lines are often the safest bet if you want your design to last,

look at the cars with clean lines
civics
vios (previous version)
city
forte
E36
E46
and many more, comparing with the curvy designs of its competitors in the same period

Hello, some updated news rumors.

Sources with unconfirmed reports saying that the delay of Elantra is caused by dispute between HSDM/Inokom/Hyundai Korea over CKD/CBU issues. We are still optimistic that this can be solved very soon.

If it's going to be brought in as CBU, the price won't be competitive at all. Will end up like Mazda 3 pricing before CKD.

As with the dispute still brewing, I can't tell you whether it'll be CBU or CKD. Dealers, HSDM, Hyundai Korea all have different expectation.

Indicative pricing? As with all Hyundai, it's only logical to predict the pricing to be lower than our Japanese competitor, you should either see a huge price gap, or a smaller gap with much better accessory packed into the car.

Sonata vs Camry vs Accord should give a good hint wink.gif

Depends, currently Korea CBU is still relatively cheaper, Sonata, Tucson are both CBU vehicles and are still priced cheaper than our main competitors and yet packed with more accessories.

Have to sleep now, tomorrow showroom duties blush.gif

Hope You Understand Nothing's Drivable and Inexpensive, oh the irony tongue.gif

If accessories is on par with say, Honda or Toyota of same spec but huge price gap, does that fit into your definition of 'decent'? tongue.gif

i understand, thats why i said i hope rolleyes.gif

for me, if the accessories is on par with T&H (City and Vios), i would say it is below decent already whistling.gif

IMO, decent is just like what Forte can offer tongue.gif
