Collar? I thought the gorge would be more of a lapel issue. But there are zero inlays on lapels of mine. The top of the lapel is noticeably cut by a pair scissors with no inlays.

This is a good example of why I believe a muslin fitting helps tremendously!

I'm a total noob when it comes to suits.
But any recommendations for me on a tight budget of probably less than Rm500? I'm leaning more towards tailor made suits. So any suggestions on which tailors I can consider? |

QUOTE(thatsound @ Aug 25 2010, 10:28 PM) I'm a total noob when it comes to suits. Are you referring to labor charges or does the RM500 includes cloth ( some low grade polyester in this case )But any recommendations for me on a tight budget of probably less than Rm500? Just look at the pulling below the bottom button. Do you think it looks good?

QUOTE(FusioneX @ Aug 27 2010, 11:55 AM) You know there is something wrong with you when you bring up a Hollywood / red carpet picture and inquire about its sartorial appropriateness. I think the blonde should button down more & the guy button up all the way to his neck. Who knows he may even have one woman on each arm , despite the sartorial faux pasNo, the bottom button was never meant to be done up and you need to lurk harder in SF. ![]() Women sometimes make the most disastrous choices... ![]() Would you all have preferred my DB to fit this way? That jacket is unwearable! |

Definitely not.
I must admit though, that if I had commissioned a DB 2-3 years back, it might have ended up looking quite similar to this... Thank god I didn't - PHEW! |
