talking about trackpads... mine is not that responsive for actual clicking. i dun really mind cuz i prefer to tap... but for clicking, i have to press it longer than usual, probably a second or so for it to register

im not gonna send this for servicing since it doesnt matter to me, but juz curious if anyone have the same problem? smile.gif

There is no such thing as an "Apple Store" there are apple resellers, two different things. Only Macstudio,Switch,Machiens and Epicenter accept tradeins for now.

Any retails stores will accept it but there might be delays in the repairs, they might have service related queues in their repair departments, better to send to stand alone service centers like VR Tech at JLN Yap Kwan Seng or Sapura at Sec 14.

im using CleanApp, works fine all these while for me. but then im using v1.6 (got it free from a magazine before) so im not sure how does the current v3.3.5 fares against cleanmymac n appzapper. $15. from screenshots it looks like it has less features than cleanmymac but better than appzapper

maybe u want to wait for the seagate momentus XT: http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?loca...0001a48090aRCRD of course dunno what's the price gonna be like

a 500gb 5400rpm drive is reportedly faster than a 320gb 7200rpm tough. more empty space = faster seeking. maybe u can look for hitachi travelstar 7k500. but then 5400rpm to 7200rpm isn't that much of an improvement actually

currently if u want really good performance, SSD is still the way to go. for 1k u can get an intel x25-m 80gb (~rm825), then probably a 320gb external 2.5" or maybe a 500gb external 3.5" if u can find one

personally i'd wait until SSDs are maybe rm2-3 per gb

After installing appzapper I think that appzapper is ok but it doesn't remove any other unwanted files like from cache and so on...can the cleanApp can do that???

cache? From what I know, appzapper will delete all files associated with that app.

Dunno about cleanmymac though.

In windows, we can terminate a 'hanged' application by accessing the task manager via ctrl+ALT+DEL or ALT+F4  .... how do you do that in MBP?

I installed Windows Live Messenger for Mac and it 'hanged' !!

you can force quit the application from the apple icon on the toolbar
