33C is quite cool, did you use cooler pad?
is the temperature consistent for several hours?
*
That was in the air-conditioned environment (with unknown temp setting). Hard to judge the PC based on the info given.

isnt a reformat of C drive will also reformat and deleted the hidden partiton for the OKR??
and i just found that the touch sensitive control key is operated by the lenovo power management...for those whose the touch control doesnt working...try reinstalling the lenovo power management and remember to checked the 'utility' when reinstalling...
*
No, the hidden partition is another partition by itself and drive D contains the backup drivers. Your C Drive (the largest partition) is where the OS is installed. Actually Lenovo power management only works for the power management function (you can remove it and use win 7's default power settings and the rest of the touch controls should still work). The OneKey Theater II, mute and audio touch controls have their own drivers.

The only reason why that would be the case would be if these drivers share some common files but I've not tested that out before.

QUOTE
so it means OKR will only works if i don't create any new partition from C: ??

Yes, as long as you don't resize your c drive it will work.

QUOTE
if created, need to merge them back to original size?

Yes, it must be back to it's original size for OKR to work and do note that you'll need the hidden partition intact as well.

QUOTE
if i have few partitions and insist to use OKR what will happen? no option to install in C: only while leaving other new partitions untouched?

OKR will cause an error (it might hang while attempting to restore to factory default or from another backup source) when you attempt to use it after you've resize your C drive

Hope this helps clear up the confusion about OKR

You still can use XP under windows 7, by getting a Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate and use XP mode.

after some reading on window 7 XP mode..

there are some limitation on it.. especially on those XP software who dealing with 3D graphic and database server communication.. i believe XP mode cant perform well on this virtual XP mode..

it is considered normal for most of the SB to have high temp according to some forums......but i don't know why.. perhaps due to passive cooling ? unsure.gif

4820TG does have few configurations of spec, only the unlucky part is M'sia won't be having the HD5650 GC and i7-620M. I didn't test the battery life because I mainly use it at home, no point put in battery lol. The main support center is in Subang SS14

Acacia IT Services

I have extended my warranty to 3 years carry-in. For consumer series laptop they don't offer on-site unless you have thinkpad/business class series laptop. The screen is fine on me, nothing to shout about.

I only can say don't give high hopes on upcoming laptops unless they have already launch. I was thinking about getting N82jv too, but because there's no available unit around KL that I can feel and play with, might as well get what is on the market.

My PCH temp for 3 1/2 days tongue.gif. Passive cooling has its own pros and cons. Most of them do able to withstand longer period of high temp but from a lifespan standpoint, it'll shorten for sure.

A form of sarcastic review I would say. The only thing interested me would only be the benchmark. Other than that, it seems like he acts like he knew everything which he screwed up himself in the 1st place on the drivers.

After leaving it on for the night, the hdd part gets really warm. My touchpad feels warm too. I've switch to Intel GMA already. Wonder why.

What kind of cooler pad do you guys use? The Y460 seems to have "stands" on each corner of the laptop, which makes it unable to have contact with my cooler master notepal. sleep.gif

If possible, do post a screenie on your current temp using everest, CPU-Z or GPU-Z. I can't assume a possible answer if you don't give us a temp reading.
