Guess what I have in my hands now? Suddenly my P91 looks so dim... =(
I would estimate that it's ~7000++++ lumens! Woot!

thanks Craig. Very helpful beamshots. I'm curious about the neutral XP-G Mini/Quark? Is it available already?
I like the neutral and P60 a lot... |

Let me do a quick overall test of the Warm tint. =D
THIS IS A TINT COMPARISON ONLY! I will compare it with Craig's P60 incan only. =D Pulling out my Digital color meter on the beamshots reads this. P60 R 163, G 101, B44 Red 53%, Green 33%, Blue 14% MiNi Warm R 172, G 102, B 33 Red 56%, Green 33%, Blue 11% Seems like this warm has more red and less blue than an incan. O.o! I'll just add the cool and neutrals. BTW, this is the XP-G neutral white, which I'm guessing that it's actually outdoor white because the output of these are simply absurd! MiNi cool R 91, G 107, B 105 Red 30%, Green 35%, Blue 35% MiNi neutral R 120, G 97, B 81 Red 40%, Green 33%, Blue 27% Hmm.. Interesting.. Wonder what it all means.. |

It means that warm tint leds are too warm
The cameras white balance was set to daylight mode, which looked the most accurate to my eyes. |

QUOTE(pseudoblue @ May 7 2010, 11:52 AM) Thanks all, but no need announcement If everyone is willing to contribute to pool a fund of RM150 a year I can construct a full fledged Invision power board (similar to LYN) with a *.com/*.net/*.org address. Unlike the free MYCPF forums, we can get the search function up etc.I'm trying to get to see if the forum can be opened for public viewing, so it's easier to link stuff to there, but only members can post. Until I get more info about Invision forums, I'm considering full migration of this thread to MYCPF. There'll be a thread with opened discussion like this, keeping the LYN spirit Let's see how it goes |

I can do so, too since I already have a hosting account set up, and lots of spare bandwidth / disk space..
I see that the install of IPB at this site is a trial license, -- which either means they're using a very old, unrestricted copy of IPB (2.x), or, well, an alternative. A full license costs $150 -- which would last forever (except no upgrades after 6 months.. not a problem, though If someone wants to fund for a license, I can either 1. host it free on a subdomain (i.e. forum.lumensreview.com, lumensreview.com/forum, etc, etc) , or, 2. purchase a new domain for 10$ a year. With a new domain, though, you'd need to pay for tsite hosting, which is ~7/month. or, of course, I could also find a trial license, and install that one, and host you guys for free I think there are a few security vulnerabilities with that option... but this forum hasn't had a problem. edit: oh, dear.. I just checked out the exchange rate.... This post has been edited by csshih: May 8 2010, 06:21 AM |
