+1. nod.gif
Same with me but I only have the S1 (incl headlight) and S2 models.
Olight is good and I'm happy with all of mine. thumbsup.gif

But there are some really hardcore Olight supporters out there! notworthy.gif

Very nice! cool2.gif thumbsup.gif
Did your S1 have enough output and runtime for the whole caving?

that's his only olight. he didnt mention what other lights he brought with him rclxs0.gif

the s1 is a handy edc and for the most part, serves one well generally. its core strength is its portability simply because of its size. it's a good light to have for short walks and such but yeah, not particular high on stamina. pretty much my urban travel companion, this. i've had my manker u12 along for my jungle treks and it has served me well. it has sufficient juice and doesn't take up too much space/weight. but this seeker2 ... it's really something else, innit. quite the looker... and that runtime. not quite something i need... but definitely something i want drool.gif

It's using a propriety 21700 "customized" battery so I'll skip. sweat.gif
I'm using 18650, 16340 and 14500 (and Eneloops / Fujitsu / IKEA Ladda) at the moment so I'm not keen to buy another type of battery. shakehead.gif

customised to enable charging via its proprietary charger, perhaps? it's interesting that other manus are even considering the 21700 seeing as to how that has been pretty much manker's u12's achilles heel in the past. i hardly had a need to swap batteries before so personally, that's not a concern for me... at least not yet sweat.gif

Power and runtime are enough. I used second level brightness most of the time.
Only activated turbo when checking the cave's ceiling.
When I activated the turbo, everyone was like wahhhhh....such power from a small flashlight.
And yes, I brought Nitecore TiNi as my backup light biggrin.gif

God’s Flashlight in the cave.

yeah, the tech is pretty amazing considering its thumbsize dimensions. sometimes people don't even realize that you've got anything in your hands... until lumos maxima! the entire area lights up rclxm9.gif

by the way, do you guys have any issue with the protective cover of the tini getting in the way of charging? i've ripped off the cover to facilitate charging. as the cover goes back on pretty snugly, i doubt that it would affect the ip, would it? just need to be careful not to misplace the cover sweat.gif

Yeah, online reviewers also complained about the USB charging flap. doh.gif
QUOTE
USB cover is in the way during charging, needs a bit longer of a tail.
QUOTE
The charging port is micro USB. The rubber port cover is easy to open thanks to a raised flap, but the port cover itself doesn’t move fully out of the way when open.

Looks good in official picture. drool.gif

wah... this thread not only light poison, but travel poison also sweat.gif

anyway, i wouldn't be too concerned about the tini surviving the splash as much as i would about the spray affecting the olympus om-d e-m5 II lens (it may be splashproof, but that fine salt can still create havoc) sweat.gif

Yup, Lens had bad condensation inside probably due to hot weather + cold sea water.

Body had salt built up within a day.

Sent to Olympus MY, only charged RM 90 for cleanup.
Luckily No salt is found in lens and body.

Thanks God , Until today both still working fine.
