the zero warranty are only on those with sales..those normal price or slight discount will still have their warranties retained.Hobbies The Bright Side V4, Malaysian Flashaholic Community

QUOTE(gadgetworld2u @ Nov 9 2017, 09:36 AM) Hi. Kindly refer to the product posting the warranty as specified. Only jetbeam i mentioned no warranty as specified in the product post and banner. The fenix is only BC20 bicycle light that is without warranty, other brands olight, nitecore & balance of the fenix model is with 5 years warranty as mentioned in the product post. Tq. Gwen Ahh..good to see Gwen still monitors this thread |

QUOTE(RookieDaddy @ Nov 4 2017, 03:45 PM) yup, you are right! haha... lumen vs lux, no argument there. for olight, i only got 2 i3e...alu and cu...both also hardly used now...both also quite worn out with nice patina for me, a balance of flood and throw is most useful in EDC (one of the reason I carry both E05 and i3e in the same keychain-group another criteria that I always look at is the runtime vs brightness (another reason why I carry i3e instead of the i3s-cu). there are so many choices now, even the budget range is good enough for daily use, not to mention there are many with convenient built-in rechargeable battery too. fwiw, the i3s-cu is a little picky about the battery used. normal alky will likely not able to deliver that high mode for more than a minute and spend most of it's "high" mode close to 50% of its claimed brightness. Even when it's powered by NiMH or Lithium primary, there is a step-down after 3 minutes, it's one of the reason why when compares with i3e side-by-side, it may appears the i3e is just brighter. At turn on, both i3s-cu and i3e are good for seeing anything within 15-20 meters (with minimal light pollution) with i3s-cu leading the advantage in peripheral vision, but after a while (like 2-3 minutes), when i3s-cu drops its brightness, i3e will be seen as having better reach than the i3s-cu, thanks to the beauty of i3e TIR optics. for batts i just use the ikea ladda 900mah ones...rm39.90 for 4. |

I plan to buy nitecore tm06, any comment on this flashlight. The problem with nitecore is their rechargerable battery is really expensive.

The problem with nitecore is their rechargerable battery is really expensive. 4 pcs Panasonic NCR18650B shouldn't break your bank and it should provide adequate power for it.To play safe you can go cheaper with 4 pcs LG HE4 and they pack a punch for its price still. Though the capacity isn't too impressive in my case. There is no need to buy protected as they restrict the amp flowing through but I'd go for it due to safety |

QUOTE(Colinlim75 @ Dec 17 2017, 10:16 PM) Do you want throw, spread or something in between? The older Nitecore TM16 with around 4K lumens might suit your need. It's much cheaper than the Fenix and reliability is not an issue as I had mine for about 2 years already. |

Won't our custom hold/detained the goods/flashlight import to malaysia? I check Lazada the price still cost RM1000, also is not in Malaysia. damn. This post has been edited by Colinlim75: Dec 18 2017, 03:10 PM |
