=================================================================
NOTICE:
We have created our very own forum, also called The Bright Side, hosted at Lumensreview. The new forum will host any future discussions and resources, and we hope it will grow and attract more Malaysian flashaholics too. I will not be updating this thread anymore and will be managing the new forum instead. However, it is not the end of the LYN Bright Side v4, there are still interactions and discussions among members.
Cheers,
Pseudoblue

Here's a reference link to the Bright Side V3, if you like to follow our discussions.
The first 5 posts will contain general and selective information (links to internal and external sources), which is our collections, local dealers info/contact, reviews, gatherings, etc. I'll add and update information as required.
If you are new to LED and incandescent flashlights, here's a place where you can start learning about its technology and terminology = The Welcome Mat - a FAQ
Flashlights are considered one of the most useful portable lighting tool that sometimes people overlook. Speaking generally, can you remember how many times you've rely on the ambient light on your mobile phones when you're caught in a blackout, or needed to see something in the dark where light was absent, or just to see something covered in dark shadows, or even look for your keys and struggle to open a lock in the dark? It could be anything. A small high-powered LED light that runs on a single AAA battery can give you all the occasional illumination you need, anywhere. Besides other general use and at work, some of the stories I've read in disaster related situations, flashlights were one of the many depended tools that served its full potential, when rescue missions prevailed through the night and for days, just imagine the horror when night falls in a disaster affected area like these and with no electricity. Stories of how LEO, the military uses portable lightings at work and missions, which often can be a matter of life and death.
We, at the Bright Side are not only just users. We're enthusiasts, collectors and we are flashaholics! We just dig the lumens factor and its technological capabilities and advancements. Be it LED, incandescent or HID. We dig 'em!
This is also the place to ask for your illumination needs for camping, blackout preparedness, work, play, adventure, hiking, emergencies, and collection
