QUOTE(damonlbs @ Apr 28 2010, 07:15 PM) Don't worry, these hobby (flashlights and knives) wouldn't waste your money, in fact, it is an investment. The least, you can use it. That is why almost all of my blade are for general use. I don't buy kerambit, kris or the same that have specific purpose (but i do have a piece of dagger; Gerber Guardian Backup) These two things, if you didn't abuse it, will last till your great-great grand children. |

Not many of us have the opportunity to be in "that" situation where your live depend on your equipments. If so, than the best should be with you. But for everyday live, something that good than ordinary or better than good are good enough for me.
p/s: unless i have some "extra" than i'll go for the best. This always happened to me; when I got less money, I think a lot, but when I got lot of money, I think less |

QUOTE(RookieDaddy @ May 6 2010, 09:23 AM) Don't worry too much on finding the best, as there are really no best flashlight around, but you will be doing fine to get a good flashlight from brands like Fenix, EagleTac, NiteCore, 4Sevens, Olight, LumensFactory, JetBeam, etc. Sorry Daddy, I would like to correct your statement .... ........... as there are really no bad flashlight around, .............. |

QUOTE(pseudoblue @ May 7 2010, 11:52 AM) Thanks all, but no need announcement Good effort CaptainI'm trying to get to see if the forum can be opened for public viewing, so it's easier to link stuff to there, but only members can post. Until I get more info about Invision forums, I'm considering full migration of this thread to MYCPF. There'll be a thread with opened discussion like this, keeping the LYN spirit Let's see how it goes |
