I just terminated my like today at TMpoint Muzium, I've terminated both my homeline and also my streamyx. But somehow my streamyx and line are still operational.

Finished using my friends name to apply for the CoolUniPack this Monday noon. The application went smoothly without any trouble. My friend signed the agreement and also paid the RM10 stamp duty. RM75 is being charged on the first bill.

Now I'm awaiting for the contractor to come and install the line then wait for the streamyx to be installed, then netbook on 14 days... Let's see how it goes!

ONE TIP: Go to TMpoint Muzium, the counter lady told me that they can waive the 30 days because of the CoolUniPack was hot selling. They can adjust for you. She commented me that I can just retain the line. I told her about the quarantine, she told me TM is trying to be a little bit loose, since when CoolUniPack started, it do need 30 days. Not they can waive it off for the customers.

12/04/10 - Get form from TMpoint Muzium.
13/04/10 - Get chop and signature on form and photocopy of offer letter from UCSI, photocopy of student ID and also IC. Went to TM point to register. Problem with the lines at Tmn Connaught, Cheras. Asks us to come back later. CoolUniPack application was keyed into system.
16/04/10 - My friend got a call from TM saying that we can now go sign the agreement for the phone line.
19/04/10 - Agreement signed, everything is running smoothly. Paid RM10 for stamp duty. Got the new free phone, wait for technician to come fix the line already.
21/04/10 - Cut my phone line. (I still can online... Maybe tomorrow no more line)

finally those bugger came and installed my homeline ... the bugger told me he came my house on last friday .... he tot everyone is so free like him.. called tm at 100 , wasted 10mins (RM3) and told me tm will activate my streamyx in 3days time

Oh really? Thanks for the heads up. I'll try it out. Whenever I tried to open up my streamyx webmail with correct password and id, it'll fail no matter what. Checked my ymail but presented with none.

Off-topic: Btw, only if I got more money, I wouldn't wanna let go this HP Mini coz I like it. Plus, my current Dell Mini 9 comes with WWAN module so I thought of putting it in the HP Mini. So in other words, I want my HP Mini to replace my Mini 9. Really itching to open up the box right now!! What the heck am I thinking, I gotta sell these two for fund to buy my dream Toshiba M900 Portege..

firstly i want to apply streamyx uni pack....
i`ll take the RM38 package..
after that can i pay RM912 for 2 year one time?
so that i no need to pay RM38 monthly..
after that....
can i upgrade to 4mbps?
so i`ll need to pay RM50 per month right?
can i upgrade and downgrade the package easily?
for example...
when semester start want upgrade to 4mbps where i`ll need to pay 50 each month..
when semester break want to downgrade to standard package where i no need to pay anymore....
and repeat for 2 years...
is it possible?
please advice...

thought of applying the unipack yesterday at TMPoint Bangi (near the McDonalds).

it was a turn off because the staff there said if i applied i need to wait for almost 1 month to get the streamyx acc.

oh well, Bangi is a student area so i can understand why it took so long

guys my line has been terminated now 30 days no internet. how come i read some people here got lucky no need to wait 30 days even after they terminate their line? why they so lucky one?

No offence, but, do u think ur plan is a bit ridiculous?? I believe there is no any service provider could provide u such flexibility.

At least with Amax WiMAX, yes. I can pay in advance. But alternating between different speed I'm not too sure. But ur idea is really cool I think. Go and ask TM, coz 100 line will not be able to help I think.
